No, SEYE doesn't have a chip. Supposed to be working with Ambarella but has been some time. Also Ambarella auto grade chip is ASIL B which wouldn't go down well with OEMs

I think liability is to the fore here. I doubt either the car would be insured or government (German) would allow it.

Eyes on above traffic jam. Great job by all involved, Audi didn't get this far and the A8 was only Traffic jam Assist but the liability too much.

That would make sense, no point having something required by law that can be turned off, some people need no encouragement though.

I think some of the earlier ones did allow it but times change.

End of last year, I think, JLR announced that until 2022,it was going to go with torque based monitoring having put on hold earlier plans it's believed for eye tracking monitoring. It's assumed that was with SEYE technology so read into that what you will!

JLR does have a long history with SEE so there's nothing saying that models from 2022 won't be with SEE tech, especially with Level 2+ systems.

To put it into context Soulboy has SEE figure correct but total sales for SEYE (including research instruments which barely registers) is in the £4.5 million region, similar to SEEs Auto revenue but SEEs main earner is Fleet which accounts for the majority of the rest.

If SEYE did have Auto revenue of 220 million króna, it would by now be showing a healthy profit rather than looking like it needs a fundraising (which SEE certainly doesn't look like needing one).

Not much difference on Auto (revenue wise) that is!

SEYE announced the two further models in May last year. There have been reviews of the tech on one of the models previously, not that it gained most attention so not surprised people forgot about it.

Where do you get £19 million from? The last quarter total (including research instruments was about £1.2 million. Overall, at present, there's not much difference between the two.

There was nothing in the SEYE report, flat at best, Viktor pumps it, just like last time, less than a years cash left, placement just like last time.

Last time it was the aftermarket Fleet product, now it will be delays caused by Covid-19, the latter being more believable. I see like JLR, Porsche etc the Fleet product is delayed.....

Viktor said something similar in his last note, I very much doubt it's all concluded or about to be. There are still many of both OEMs and /or models to be decided which we all know. Viktor, bless him, still believes that if you win one model with one OEM you win all the models with that particular OEM. Well, maybe if the OEM wants it all on a chip but not so if it's SW only. Viktor, bless him again, also still believes eye tracking is eye tracking is.... unless it's SEYE which is better than the rest other than SEE which it's as good as. Still doesn't get the difference. He's a bit of a disappointment really.

So taking it to its logical (Viktor) conclusion, does that mean not publicly quoted bodies like Eyesight and Jungo etc (who you'd expect its insiders to still hold a fair amount) are nailed on to win in the DMS field and that Mitsu might as well call it a day,?

No prob, it does get frustrating but this is really non-news, pure froth, Martin would be proud of it.

It's amazing how froth can look but this is a partnership, not a contract, there are probably no legal obligations on either side. Notice what's missing from this? No mention of cash, why? because there is no cash involved. The 50,000 is the same 50,000 that SEE will be going at, with, you've guessed it, Mix and Geotab (and in their own right) , who in total have returned one contract in all the time there's been a collaboration /partnership. Interestingly, there was also no mention of cash when those partnerships were announced. Why? Because if Mix and /or Geotab didn't sell any, which in Geotabs case is correct, there was no cash coming to SEE, zero! Eyesight is welcome to Globo, both are hoping to get business quite probably in a market ie China, that SEE really is not keen on, and probably with good cause.

But, yes, I think we all wait, and wait, for an RNS, financially significant one, not froth, landing at 0700 one morning, preferably this Monday!!!!
