We don't need Sareum to be a commercial entity to make huge profits, especially from these levels. You have a potential 25 bagger from here, IF, big IF, Sareum can get 1801, 1802 to the end of P2 and I think that's as far as SAR will ever take the compounds. We are as close to losing everything as we have ever been but on the plus side, we are as close to a sustained rerate as we have ever been. I'd rather risk the lot and wait than miss out on a life-changing profit. The risk for new investors now is nothing like the risk I took over 10 years ago. This isn't investment advice but if you ever wondered how the LTH got such big holdings, the truth is we bought cheap, dreamed big, and ignored the risks.

Think everyone just needs to step back and look at what we do know. There is no point in trying to interpret what Tim was trying to say in the RNS. The important line was "Due to uncertainties around the timeline for resubmission, we therefore no longer expect the trial to commence before the end of 2022" This was the message he was giving the market. The resubmission might be a couple of weeks or a full preclinical assessment, we just don't know until they tell us. I said last week, we were on a knife edge and it could go either way. Unfortunately, it has gone the wrong way. it is the worst possible time for this to happen. We have gone from 4 promising compounds to uncertainty across all compounds in the space of 2 years. The market is unsure just as we are and this uncertainty won't be lost on Tim and board. Trying to second-guess everything isn't helping anyone. We have to give them time to assess and give us an update. Hopefully, it isn't long before we get something.

I'm actually surprised at Utar. His anxieties were on show the whole time he was invested and I stuck up for him quite a lot. He got out and hopefully found a bit of peace from it all but now he comes back to feed the anxieties of others. Poor show

Laz, personally, I was expecting a raft of news over the next couple of weeks but it will all be dependent on the CTA. This news is another spanner in the works. I suspect that The Board cannot clarify what the next steps before mitigating further bad news and by bad news, I mean further delays or funding options.

In the last 2 years you had loads of opportunities to take profit. This is an AIM, it is foolish not to take profit when you see it.

Leave them to it, SOG. The bad news is in the RNS. The trial won't start in 2022, that's it. We'll take a hit and Id to to see an explanation from the board as to why but if there is one we we can be sure of, it's SAR are consistent at not meeting deadlines.

It would be difficult to do a hostile takeover without a big chunk of PI's buying into it. Personally, I wouldnt vote for any offer less than £800 million, even at this stage. Depends how many holders have the same sentiments as me. I stand by my £2 billion, by the end of P2 valuation. It'll be a roller coaster getting there but IMO, that's the prize.

Let this be a lesson learned for the incessant rampers here. This is AIM biotec, its risky as hell. Tim and the board are not geniuses, they are falable and they messed up the application. We will be be punished for it and we face more delays but I'm confident the CTA will be granted once the MHRA have reviewed the data with the extra support they need.

Yes, IMO they should raise enough to see 1801/02 through to P2 or possibly into P2. What will that cost, £10, £20 million? I don't know but investors will be more willing to invest after the threat of a placing has been removed. When I DYOR, the first thing I check is when was the last raise. The potential deal sizes in P2 assets are much bigger that P1 for obvious reasons.

Krone, I think Parker was giving a clue to what you are suggesting in the tweet I quoted below. SOG has put in some good legwork over the week or so. We need cash, just how much we go for is the question? Would others here be happy with a 20% (or more) dilution that will fund bitgs tyk2 compounds through to P2? I would be ok with it. Parkers tweet is the path to a multi billion valuation if all goes well.

It's not a lack of news as such. More a lack of clarity. Parker tweeted just week ago

Once we get clarity on timescales and financials the SP will find a new level. Take the science out of the equation.

Company A has some promising widgets in development but need help in getting them to market. The balance sheet appears to show a shortcoming in finances. At what point will you invest? Do you risk buying in with no clarity or do you wait for a detailed plan, laying out how they will get to market? The science is irrelevant at this stage. Reveal the plan and the investment will follow. IMO, 'the plan' is being worked on. Its no different to Dragons Den and risking the wrath of the board. It might mean us giving away some shares to one of the dragons in return for the cash and expertise.

Great post SOG. I know we have disagreed on the relevance of the science but lots here think the science will propel Sareum forward no matter what but in reality. There are lots of hoops to jump through. Some legal, some ethics, some financial. I still think we are on a knife edge but leaning the right way.

Yep, I'm nervously excited. Could go either way but I'm leaning towards a nice announcement stating 1801 going to clinic fully funded for P1, a&b. The most logical way would be a licence with a big enough upfront to cover 1802 P1 too. That will free up Tim and the board to concentrate on CHK1. I honestly think that will be a joint venture where Sareum have to pay part of the trial costs along with CPF a third party.

Gunner. Part of gaining approval means showing you can fund the trial. Like I said. I don't believe there is an issue with the science part of the approval. The funding part might be taking a bit longer to sort out.

Walts, we did have the funds but we only paid 27% the rest came from CPF. Its all in the RNS released at the time. No CPF this time so 100% of trial costs to come from Sareum.
