Everything that SOG just said. I think the CTA is priced in but if the news also lays out the future funding ultil the end of P1. We could get a nice lift to take us into 737 news. IMO the sp won't go up in a straight line. More like steps upto a billion then a buyout for 2 billion. Couple of years away but that's why I'm here.

I'd take £14 but if we can get 1801/1802 into P2 trials and SRA737 towards the end of P3. I think we'd get double that. I for one xm willing to wait and take the risk to see how high we can go.

I think we are nailed on for an RNS on Monday. We might even see 190 or higher today in anticipation. The question is will we get two in short succseion? One for CTA one for funding. They wouldn't releases both in the same RNS. The other option is they acknowledge the costs but layout plans and risks. Wouldn't rule out a Friday RNS for a placing just yet. Ha ha.

Just to echo some of SOGs points. IMO A placing would be acceptable if it derisked us for p1a/b and 1802 preclinical. We could then do a later stage (bigger/better) licence deal. An institutiinal investment brokered by PH would be massive news and secure us well into P2 territory. They may go down the HNWI route again but I think that is unlikely as the last one is well underwater. Not a great advert for the company.

Now is the time for Parker and the NEDS to do their thing. I'm sure they are BTW. No news is good news as Tim famously said.

Rv84 - funding. That's the big unanswered question. Get that right with a confident RNS and all will be well. Get it wrong and the market will punish us.

Below from the SRA737 CTA RNS. It shows the contribution SAR had to commit too. 1801 is 100% ours so we pay 100% of the costs this time. I still think between 2 and 3 million. Unless anyone can show me otherwise?

In 2016 it was Jan 29th to April 4th so more than 60 days. Sp went 0.6 ish to a high of 1, closed at 0.9ish. Then a gradule decline until we got the Pronai licence in September.

My 2 billion is based in 1801/1802 get to the end of P2. Could easily be more if good data but I don't think we'll be allowed to get that far without an offer being made.

There are lots here who will be very vocal if the sp doesn't significantly move with the CTA RNS. I'll be fine because I already don't believe it will move but I do believe the company will be worth 2 billion in a couple of years.

Yep, I do trade but the cash usually stays in my ISA. And yes, I do buy back if the sp falls. I very rarely sell more the 10% of my SAR pot. This strategy has served me well over the years and is the main reason I have almost 50000 shares that are effectively a free ride. I spent a long time under water here so I know what it feels like so I take advantage of any spike or dip to increase my holding or locking profits. Can't see how my strategy effects anyone else but me. Im just calling it as I see it based on what the company tells us and what has happened in the past. That's all we have to go on.

We're all the same, we all want to make money. My expectation of when I cash out is a bit further down the road, that's all.

Absolutely, Blastoid. I'd welcome a fund raise if it financially derisked us to the end of P1 for 1801. Even more so if it allowed us to put 1802 through pre clinical.
I think it's an important point, that may not be known by others here. You have to prove you can the fund the whole trial as part of the CTA. That means ringfencing the whole trial costs. IMO, we have the funds and they will reference that and where they are coming from in the RNS. A confident RNS is needed here.

Have to agree with Gunner. The CTA is a big step forward but not nessarily price sensitive news. It all depends on the information they give us. There are questions that need answering. The main one is trials costs. How much have we had to allocate to the trials? I reckon its between £2 and £3 million. We have it in the bank but I doesn't leave much wiggle room or contingency. If they answer this question then it will give the market some confidence that this might be the last time to buy a 10 or 20 bagger. I'm excited for the CTA because it's a big step forward but I'm not kidding myself that it will be the start if the rerate. Also trying really hard not to say placing!

Thanks for that HBD, you are a bit more level-headed than some here so your posts are more considered. My hope is pinned on your number 2 point and hopefully something that de-risks us financially. II Placing, market placing, HNWI or licence, i don't really care as long as we have enough to progress 1801 and 1802. The long term holder here know the score and its easy for us to hold as we're still in profit.

Committing, not commuting!

HBD, Like I said not being pessimistic but 737 was approved Apr 5th 2016, Trial started May 31st. So it could happen but if will be tight. My finance point still stands. Part of the CTA means commuting to the costs for the trial. For 737 it was approx £700k and that was for our 27%. 1801 is wholly owned so we could be looking at anything between £2 to £3 million. That makes a big dent in our bank account. If they address the finances in the RNS, all good. If not, the market will notice. Everyone thinks I have an agenda, I dont. But if you put yourself in the shoes of a potential investor, would you buy or would you wait? This is basic due diligence that most new investors will be doing. For clarity, I'm not buying or selling right now. I might trade some if we see a spike on the CTA though.

My view hasn't changed at all and I'm not being pessimistic either. I'm just going on what the RNS's say. All through this year, they said trials to START in 2022 including the one in August. Then the last RNS states dosing first patient in 2023. If the RNS lands next week. Is 12 weeks really enough time to recruit and 'start' the trial? What does start mean, how is it defined? It really doesn't matter to me. Im going by the first patients being dosed in 2023 as stated in the last RNS. But it seems that others here are thinking this approval will be a catalyst for some price movement. If there is no meat on the bones with the next RNS, then the next buy point will be when GSK next mention 737. So any investment sitting on the sidelines might wait a little longer before buying in and we know what time between news does to the SP. I'm bullish on Sareum, I just happen to think we have a bit more waiting to do and if I'm wrong, I win anyway. My expectations are set.

It feels like a lot of hope is being pinned on the CTA approval. For me, it is another step forward and would be good positive news but I can't see it doing much to the SP other than a short-term spike. I also have a fear that there isn't enough time to spin up a P1 trial in 2022 so the Trial may start in 2023 which would be seen as another delay by the market. There is a big question about funding the trial and pre-clinical 1802 plus all the other BAU costs. I'm sure the board are on top of this but until we get confirmation of licences and or other deals, I can't see the market warming up on 1801 alone. SRA737 will probably be the next step up for us and that could be in the next month or so.

Hi Blue. I agree and disagree. Baseless claims should be taken with a pinch of salt but if the post comes with a link to explain that claim, I want to hear it.
