No I mean Revenue

So to clarify even if we used a VERY conservative estimate of this years annual revenue which has to be north of £500m based on x6 that’s is £3bn minimum take out price imo. Anything less I would tell them to walk

I mentioned this morning a new Diagnostics business listing on the AIM market having £20m of revenue, just breaking into profit and has a listing market cap of £120m

This is for an AVERAGE Diagnostics business not in the League of NCYT

So imo an acceptable take out value has to be a bare minimum of X6 Revenue and more like closer to 8 or 9X in view of the status, control and position NCYT commands

some muppet in government rushed out and ordered 10 million Innova spit tests that have about 70% accuracy and give false positives - you couldn't make it up. Anyhow since then NCYT do have a product developed with Astrazeneca:-

So hopefully HMG here will order the next lot from NCYT. Meanwhile, NCYT has plenty of other orders to fill as it and we dont know the impact of their Winterplex product yet, not to mention other products due to be released.......

at what point a company has to put out a statement to confirm if an acquisition rumour is true or not?

As the SP is still not back to where we were three days ago, does the company even have to say anything?

A small COVID diagnostics testing business is going live on the junior market on a market cap of £120m. It has £20m in annual sales and has just gone into profit.

So can anyone tell me why we are on such a pathetically low valuation here? Based on the above the SP should be north of £50 let alone £10

I mean i could sell my own private company for 4X my annual revenue and here is Novacyt currently with a market cap less than its order book. You couldn't make it up.
We should be north of £25 not £ 9

It’s tough times and the shorters have been giving us hell but it’s game over for them now, Risk of the SP climbing significantly higher than risk of further downside.
The market cap is less than the the order book value for crying out loud

Further gains for shorters at this level are minimal in relation to the risk of getting burned.

Really a most odd situation, clearly the share has been brought to the attention of shorter’s capitalising on no current updates and making a killing on the SP falling.
meanwhile investors have fallen out of love for whatever reason with the share probably the french buying cr@p from China which like our PPE and ventilators will probably arrive faulty and need to go back, hasn't helped but even so it beggars belief that the SP now reflects a value less than its order book?

When a company as good as this has a market cap lower than its order book it’s a serious state of affairs.

So your telling me that the market cap of Novacyt with its H1 results and cash in the bank should be similar to ACVT that has done £5mil and making a loss.

No more like another big sale, perhaps the Venture Capital group offloading the rest of their shares, if fact if the MMs can encourage more sellers we can go minus 20% today to add to the previous two days losses.
Ridiculous situation, the business is materially undervalued as it is

The SP of Novacyt is materially undervalued we have a market cap of £650 million which is a PE of circa x1 we have a solid order book, very profitable and cash reserves.
AVCT on the other hand has a market cap of £435 million yet did £ 5 m in sales and made a loss.
You couldn’t make it up

Look you have a vested interest in covid breath test tech but it’s currently not proven, it’s not a finished product as it’s still in dev and it needs capital to develop it. We need products ready now.
In addition, there is a heck of a difference between manufacturing and distribution of finished products in an established supply chain than trying build a new one from scratch
So please peddle your other stock somewhere else
