The position in the US is just horrendous
They are however funding significant increases in testing from Jan 1 so hopefully can gain some control soon.
Novacyt really need to support the US, I would say a stateside acquisition to expand further into this market would be a good call

I agree that Capacity has increased with introduction of the additional lighthouse labs but government testing targets are still being missed by the look of it.
I’m sure at one point the government target was 500,000 a day so 357,000 is well short

Anyone in any doubt that testing is here to stay and essential for control needs to see the data. The growth is off the scale and this is just U.K. when you take in worldwide demand and the further recent shift to more accurate testing the demand will continue to outstrip supply for at least the 12 months imo.

Two more funds taking positions is also good news, word starting to get out more and showing upon the radar of a few, we only have 70 million of shares in issue as it is so this also helps bolster the SP. Will start to get interesting soon

Those that want out are already out pre Christmas Day, the SP has already slipped 7% in the last week as it is on what in my opinion is a seriously undervalued stock,
Despite the already expected vaccine news, I might add only 40% of the French are interested in taking up the vaccine, go figure, the WHO have as good as said that Covid is something we will need to live with.

The new variant has also recently been detected in at least 17 countries, including South Korea, Spain, Australia and Canada.

Some great research but we must consider the date of appointment and order flow in relation to the financial year. The results were published to the end of June. So it’s partner revenues from first order after appointment through to 31.12 so figures that high wouldn’t be enough possible imo in that window. However for the full 21 year we could well be talking those sort of levels

Frankly a forecast of warmer weather ahead will work for me, although i have to say we have already had many false readings this last fortnight with "Cup and handle charts" "Crystal ball gazing" and other such methods.
Not to mention one novacyian with a "dainty" handle on a cup which i thought was sure to bring a result.
Anyone's guess i think...

I was reading an article recently about the express Abbott RT-PCR in trial use at Mumbi Airport in India:-

Claiming to turn around a rapid pcr test in 13 mins. The volume was 35 which made we wonder if this was in line with Gensig q32 which can do 32 in one hour
Are Abbott claiming a single test to take 13 mins? or is this an average? why would anyone wait 8 hrs going on holiday if they can get the result in 13 mins if that's the case. If it is i would expect a dam sight more than 35 customers in a day at Mumbi airport which i believe is a busier airport than Heathrow??.
Meanwhile, if Versalab is installed at an airport powered by Gensig technology sounds to e like a similar outcome?
One to watch anyhow as probably Roche and Abbott are our biggest competitors albeit the market is bigger than we can all cope with anyhow.

Company with $100m market cap listed on the Nasdaq with a rapid test via blood finger prick test. Also, working on same to transfer data via mobile device. I don't believe as accurate as PCR but certainly more accurate than LFT.

They are semi-quantitative and use a reader to score the result. This gives an idea of the actual levels of Antigen and Antibodies in the test samples. The covid test result time is 15 mins.
The way forward with this imo is to engineer something similar to a finger prick blood test used in common Diabetic blood level tests.
Anyhow, one to add to the research pile.

I remain convinced that Novacyt can produce a rapid test more accurate than an LFT to run alongside their current offerings where there is clear demand, Novacyt need to supply it- Time will tell.

I totally agree with you that PR is lacking, if Novacyt was American can you just imagine the noise they would be creating. We have the first test to pick up the new variants and that was before government even knew about them!
I can only concur that PR needs to be improved, they are doing some brilliant things well head of the curve.
You can have the best tasting cakes in the world, but if don’t tell anyone about them nobody knows.

You are right, they could cross list.
Interested to know what the fees would be like but if Graham wants to be taken more seriously in the US market being listed there could be a really smart move?

Appreciate that the French helped out to be fair when Novacyt came to market but I really feel we have outgrown that market now. Much prefer a duel listing UK/USA all day long.

As i like bottom fishing i was holding 500,000 ARB Argo blockchain from 8p and sold 400,000 at 14p and moved it into Novacyt. Stock just got rerated and is up 17p in one day!! after a 6p climb yesterday!!!

I'm cashing out of ARB completely as its mining revenues directly relate to the price of bitcoin so very high risk, so just shows you. timing is everything.

Best price i could get out of HL was 8.34 on £10k
My best guess is that a fund is buying and a sell marker will get removed before closed.
The ask is advertised as 8.24
Either that or HL are ripping me off
