Not concerned about seeing further Director Buys frankly, I would prefer a share buy back at open market rates even its only 5%. and maybe a token dividend could illustrate maturity? even if it was just 10p - cost of 7m ?

For me, its all about acquisition target of non covid plays to further expand into the Diagnostics sector in different verticals, so that become associated as a "World Wide Diagnostics Group" rather than seen as a one trick covid play.

A perception change is well overdue but maybe this can only come after the DHSC matter is resolved unless its a fairy small acquisition ie under £20m??

I genuinely think this is fair enough. The R&D and business activity side have gone from strength to strength, business side we can't fault. But many shareholders have taken a hit.

Equally, as the Share Price recovers, I don't think any of us would have any objection to GMs bonus increasing, I would certainly support that once DHSC gets resolved and we start seeing the material increase in the Share price to reflect the business successes.

Lets see what he has to say in the H1 statement, he intermated that revenues from the new products will be "Significant" lets see how that translates in reality.

Disappointing day regarding the Share Price however trade volume still remained fairly low:-

It's good to see that the AIM is becoming the more dominant market of the two, i remain firmly of the opinion that ditching the bourse in favour of a market with a bigger reach such as the Nasdaq will give the Share Price a major boost.

The Update today was massive, it was previously clarified by Novacyt that the capacity for the new test is 1million a week but i think this was lost in translation. The saliva test was also a first, they had previously carried out very impressive results with AZN regarding engagement rates when using saliva tests V traditional LFT but again the market didn't see the significance today hopefully, we will see a more positive reaction in the coming days but trade volume was really low and that needs to change.

News of the partner and how all this translates into orders is what's required now and it will come...

Yes, I must concede that the Share Price action is quite ridiculous.

We have just released brilliant news with a validated CE Mark test, we have a substantial market for this test with capacity of 1m units a week.

In addition, which was not expected, we have unlocked the Holy Grail of all things testing with a Rapid Saliva Test with high accuracy levels.

And this is at the backdrop of a day where testing levels are at their highest, we have the highest number of cases since mid January and practically every country in the world wants us to have a clear test before entry and more school pupils are being sent home due to infection.

You could not make it up. So clearly three things, outside of pure manipulation: -
1. Sentiment is low towards the business, and this can only change over time
2. Traders were out the moment news landed to talk it down and put a negative spin on it. We need to get off the Bourse asap imo, the bulk of our shorting issues are driven from France.
3. This crappy DHSC dispute is really weighing heavy on us. Its more than priced in but apart from the shout out in the Times last week, most coverage is negative which again does not help point 1.

Anyhow, lets see how this afternoon’s trading goes. At some point the share price must catch up with the fundamentals.
Still wonder who the partner is? Is there some reason this was not released to the market today?

Not to mention all the data with AZN where it illustrated that the take up rate was higher, less chance of error and on a collective it delivered outstanding results. These tests in Schools would be just perfect..... better than ANYTHING in the market next to PCR

@Covidopptomist and jonny19 - don't try and de-ramp here, take that back to your AVACTA board, you don't have "HOME" validation and you never cracked Saliva Tests in all your time of trying. This blows you out the water frankly.

I am an investor looking for Asset Situations & High growth Opportunities. I have completed significant research here, including visiting alternative labs such as Biograd to gain a real understanding of what is going on in the industry and engaging directly with the company.

I specifically like opportunities where I consider the share price is below its underlying value, but I do detailed research before I buy in unless its a punt. You could probably say I have become a bit obsessed. I really like this business; I have not seen anything with this much upside potential in absolutely years. Its a once in a ten-year opportunity as far as I am concerned, that is how bullish I am, but I am investing for long term growth. I do not trade his stock.

Initially my portfolio was 9 stocks (hence porkies 9) 3 higher risk/growth, 3 medium and 3 low. Its currently down to 5 now as I have trebled up here, so I have built a reasonable holding and I am using this period as a time to add further to my NCYT holding on the cheap as I see it.

I do not invest time on the ODX board as I have little to add over there. I do not know that much about Colin or the way he intends to direct the business. I will likely watch the results presentation mid July, the financials will not be great, I currently see them more as a manufacturer, I do not think any business will come from the DHSC (no longer trust those contracts) and DHSC will buy Orient Gene instead of Innova, but I think Colin could support orders elsewhere worldwide so that is not a concern. I think GM could cut a deal with Colin for increased manufacture capacity? Just a thought.

Anyhow, hope above confirms but I can 100% clarify I am not sponsored, I wish. Just very bullish regarding the companies’ prospects, I have a significant holding here built, so I have a vested interest in the SP climbing higher over the longer term.

You may well be right, not picked up by the media yet because infection rates are high but the vaccine is helping keep the death rate down. However, we having to test more and more due to the numbers turning up at A&E with suspected Covid that needs clarification.

I know, this stock is so red hot at the moment, we are right on the cusp of a break out imo.
Sooner news breaks and we get increased coverage, SP Angel and Numis upgrade and retail start moving back in we will be flying. Very comfortable adding at the moment.

We can see the direct correlation to testing levels, the PCR testing levels heading back towards the All time highs again.

With Travel opening up at the same time, Testing levels could well be higher in H2 than they are in H1 at this rate and if they drop mask wearing as suggested in the media then Influenza cases will also rise.

Winterplex sales will increase as a results of tests to identify if you have flu or covid.

I just hope Sajid has a handle on this with the DHSC, no corner cutting....

Of course this is where the second gen Antibody test to detect your antibody levels comes into its own in the next quarter.

We still don't really know how long the vaccine protects for before you need another booster. Not to mention the OPs comment here that his levels were specifically low due to other medication in the loop.

Well we do have to learn to live with it and testing a) to ensure we are aware of any more deadly variants that could go under the vaccine and b) to establish how to treat the patient (Influenza, Covid, something else) is here to stay.

We are able to identify quicker and treat the patient. Levels of infection are now back to where they were in February and rising hence why testing levels are rising and that's before the increases from travel.

For the sake of mandkind we have no choice but to be on the look out for new variants or new virus that could next time totally wipe us out. An established diagnostics infrastructure i would say is absolutely essential going forwards. That is why i am so pro this business.

The work they do with cog-uk also plays a part in protection on the worldwide stage.

This is the thing, some decent updates and then hopefully some positive press off the back of it and it creates obvious interest in the shares.

With only 72 m shares in issue, it doesn't take much buying volume to really push these higher.

And his lover also out now resigned from the Non exec post in the DHSC. A friend of mine said "oh i bet his wife has known for ages" well I'm not so sure, she didn't have a clue according to press reports. I tell you what, she will take him to the cleaners, 15 years of marriage and three kids with her, plus public humiliation.

Meanwhile, Sajid has much to learn in the new role, but it can't be any worse for us. I hope he reviews track and Trace and they sort all these DHSC issues out. For what its worth i did tweet Sajid asking that he review the DHSC issue - we can but try.

Indeed, someone VERY worried
A load of crappy French chartists on Twitter earlier all with graphs with lines drawn south, i reposted with graphs showing the reality!!!, so a real push to attempt to scare retail.

The fact is that there are a series of updates due that could provide a material step change north in the share price. As such anyone short will be worried at the moment.

What they want is for the price to decline or at worst rise and then increase their short to create a fall back. It has worked before but i have a feeling that this time it will be far more difficult. With positive coverage in the Times for example, it brings attention to the stock. We don't need much buying power to blow away all the shorts. so if a news update is really good it could create sustained buying that would then force the shorts to close and that in turn will push us north even higher.

Fridays trade activity was very encouraging, always remember, ultimately if they add to a short position at some point it has to be brought back so if you are invested here and keep adding and ride it out, nobody can take stock off you at these fire sale levels unless you let them!!!

I remain convinced that ultimately this Share Price will correct itself... looking forward to next weeks trading

A lot of hearsay and accusations and effort to discredit the guy whilst at the same time nothing actually proven.
The source of bone marrow for example, there would be a team involved, a process would have been followed and the technical officer not involved in the data recording process, anyhow Novacyt know what they are doing.
Novacyt are experts at validation processes and follow everything by the book so no room for error that's for sure.
Anyhow, At this level of appointment full DD background checks references and qualifications fully checked out for sure.
