SH just need to appreciate they are setting up a SPV stateside, not the result I personally wanted but that’s the way it is, this will take time. I have not seen a prospectus for it, I have no idea how much cash it’s trying to raise or how much progress is being made or how likely it will be to meet any milestone payments agreed once all in place but I do know these things take time

However, Suzy s a totally honest broker, I really rate her and is the sole reason I still have a position here, I would trust her with my life.

Should the deal take slightly longer to conclude she will update next week likewise if the deal is finished and a payment in the bank she will update. Either way it’s a matter of time.

The only risk factor is if conclusion and transfer of funds takes longer than another 12 weeks, ie end of March as they would more capital but she Is still confident that won’t be the case and it still allows wiggle room if timelines over run

I think that’s dam decent of Duncan to take the time out to reply. Good on him.
He is doing a terrific job with the business and that’s all that counts in the end
The share price will right itself in time
Meanwhile, we all just need to get behind him and the business and be as supportive as we can

Whilst i doubt that Duncan will reply to the OP it is their right as a shareholder to ask questions if they so wish
The business is fundamentally sound and recent data results are delivering confirmation of how effective LBPs are. For that reason I remain a shareholder and ADD

Also, some new funds take new positions for 2022 next week and 4D have spent the last few months presenting what they do, I’m hopeful this will also attract new interest

It’s going to get very exciting here very quickly as the next data sets get released

Forget about Olivieria, the business has no control over what external investors do or their specific circumstances. If Duncan could pick a fund to back them it probably wouldn’t be SO. Probably prefer Merck holding a greater percentage.

Anyhow, SO is at tipping point, not to mention shorts will need buying back so I’m very confident on a bull run here fairly soon, it won’t take much of an update in any of the LBP fields to trigger this off

SO = Steven Oliveira

They picked up a block of stock from a managed fund which included 4D at 50p
In that fund was an investment in some hand biotech business that went south, lost 90% and investors bailed hence forcing the fund to reduce its holdings
We don’t know if SO will be partially or fully closed out either way it’s close now

They always say, Never fall in love with stock

But for 4D I absolutely love this company, I genuinely think LBPs are going to be absolutely massive, I really do.

I’m away currently but was able to get my broker at HL to add again today. I post tonight remotely and I’m feeling ugly aware that SO fund is still selling, he is just waiting to see if he can screw a bit more out of the share price should a good update land.I had already calculated he was down to 6.5% two weeks or so back so I’m just waiting on the next Tr1 But I say, fck him, let him sell, sooner he is off the scene the better for us all and we can move on.

He doesn’t have much left now and with shorts outstanding we are close to tipping point anyhow

My dearest wish is to see Merck increase their position or a fund with a longer view will take up SOs slack and help us advance but either way, we are materially undervalued. It’s a crying shame that those in the placement need over 100% gain to get money back but it is how it is

Keep the faith, this is a fantastic business make no mistake, LBPs really are the future and it’s a matter of time before the SP reflects that, good luck

Not that it counts for anything but for anyone interested, i still hold here 500,000. I have NOT sold any recently.
I think some need to acknowledge that markets are volatile at the moment and volumes are low.

Hear, Hear, your post 20.25 spot on... they are doing amazing work not to mention at the start of this pandemic giving everything despite in many cases not even having adequate PPE. Government support has been dire since the start. But no change there. Don't let the idiots here grind you down :)

I'm fully loaded on NCYT so i'm either going to return first week of Jan to find some good news has broken and we are heading back to ATHs ahead of the results and start off 2022 in a positive way. Or find the share price is still on it ars@ and nothing changed. Not that long to find out...

Reality is we are having to live with a constantly changing virus and will need to maintain a solid diagnostics testing industry to test, map and ensure we stay ahead and update vaccines with those changes. Not rocket science.

With testing volumes expected to be that high in the new year, labs will be placing orders with Novacyt NOW to ensure they are prepared and ready. Sales stateside were building in H1 i suspect that will climb materially higher in H2.

No idea what November/December revenue will be for Novacyt but i bet it s a dam sight higher than the 7m estimated per month they put forward at H1. I'm expecting full year to be improved - time will tell.

All that is going on is that a couple of two bit traders, decide they want to open a down spread bet and then go about starting a negative title here to encourage retail to sell or not buy to support it. Its that simple.

The "covid stocks beaten down thread" was started by P100 and fed into by some fellow traders. Its utter ******. Where's evidence of that? Share price was drifting 2% on an AIM Stock in a lowish volume period on a Friday. Jeeze.

Could close massively higher, nobody can predict this stock - what i do know is this, with volume this high and climbing, Novacyt will be doing some serious volume, sales will be climbing and revenue with it.

Results out in Jan and likely sizable contract wins any moment. Frankly, never a stronger time for this company and the perfect hedge investment when stocks in the market fall.

I don't post so much here these days compared to the past, just got sick of the games and nothing has changed.

I'm currently adding here so good time to sell if you are not confident or you buy into some of the negative Bullsh@t posted here.
