Oh it was poetic justice, makes a real change...

The known shorting group were trying to target and force it down the same down trend charting pattern. Only issue was that this time SO is out hence no supporting pressure and retail currently are buying due to being in news season and we are expecting updates. Now we have this large buyer, a £215k Buy with a £32.5k and a £22.5k along side it which could well be the same buyer or connected.

I could see the sells being placed on the book and the MMs played it like a dream, at one point i was thinking its not being marked down in relation to the shorts or sells placed hence why i posted about an order being filled. They wanted stock in for sure.

Whilst you can't predict what a SP does i think we have more than a fighting chance of a really big increase tomorrow, I'm going to go for +30% with or without the oncology data news.

If it turns out those buys are adding to Mercks position, a new position being built or even director buys it could give us a real boost. Eitherway its a really good show of confidence. PLUS as an added bonus if it was shorts placed along side, happy days the lot will need buying back and the market is turning really positive towards LBPs, We will absolutely fly in my opinion.

Really hope today marks the start of the recovery..

For those not as closely following, the oncology update is due out any moment from now. The pledge from Duncan was before the quarter end which is next Wednesday hence, only a few man days left to go.

Yes, the closing position of SO draws out a couple of would be chance shorter's. Not an issue as its stock that needs to be brought back. Buy into any weakness and give them a bloody nose.

Meanwhile, the market in general is turning very pro LBPs and research into the Microbiome as seen by recent investments and papers out. Looking good, they deliver that proof of concept and i believe we are in for a material step change in the SP from here.

Nemean Asset Management Fund remain static at 3.28 it is the South Ocean Capital Management Fund that was forced to close the position. It confirms the position at 18/3. The .22 will likely already be gone.

Totally agree @Martyn1873 the market is waking up to 4D and it will attract investors rather than traders. More data is hitting the market surrounding the effectiveness of LBPs and the relationship with the Microbiome, its a short matter of time now.

Yes, the recent investment of 50m into Microbiotica does indeed raise questions regarding how materially undervalued this stock is. Jeeze they have two LBPs they are trying to position to get towards being ready for a phase 1 trial and two still at discovery phase level yet we have 14 at various stages of development of which five at right at the later stages including one that is potentially at P3 going to wards commercialisation. Not to mention 1,000 filed patents in 16 classification groups. 4 D are without doubt the daddy of all things LBP.

BUT, lets not forget here that not only have we had the wind down of the fund to deal with this last year but we also had the accompanying shorting to utterly destroy the value that ran alongside it.

That phase has come to an end now, we recently hit close to the ATL and bounced off it and we are now entering a news rich phase. IF the 0518 data readout is good, the business mcap will be re-rated imo as it would be a game changer, it will be a material change. Also we have the other products to add to that good news flow but it will prove outright IMO how effective LBPs are and that's what we need as the catalyst to move us to a decent value.

I do agree though that we run the risk of Merck just swooping in on good data and tabling a low ball offer. We are at risk of that and its something we have to accept whilst the SP is on the floor at this current time. Hopefully in this situation Duncan and team will seek out best price.

Finally, I still stand by my comments that this is a new line of meds that the big pharma's will want a slice of , i genuinely see LBPs being as big as antibiotics, they get this right and frankly the share price will take care of itself. If Merck try and bid, likely others will follow.

Big funds currently just want proof of concept, they will get that in spades shortly should 0518 be as positive as we suspect it might be. Lets hope so, everything is indicating that way so far. Matter of days now before we find out...

As we know, II and directors were buying here at £1.10 in the last placement.

For new investors not following this stock closely, the issue the business has faced is nothing to do with the drug advancements its plain and simply down to the fact that effectively a small collapsed fund that owned up to 11% of the share capital has had to unwind over the last year selling the entire holding. This is an event outside the control of the company but it has totally decimated the share price.

BUT, what an opportunity this has created for new investors. Those in the placement need a three bag from here just for money back, quite understandably existing SH are ****ed, many nursing big losses but, that matter is now dealt with, the fund is out, its onwards and upwards from here with new funds now showing interest.

When this SP starts to rally and it will, every man and his uncle will be buying in here. Attitude from doubters will change.
We recently bounced off the ATL line, I believe excepting profit takers on the way, that the SP journey is now heading strong north from here.

Let’s see how the next few weeks go but at this low market cap its a no brainer to buy and frankly the market are just starting to wake up to it, investments in the bios working on microbiome and related LBPs are really starting to attract fresh interest. Hence the 50m investment last week to fund another LBP trial.

It will be the same here. 4D have over 1,000 patents. The biggest player in the sector, this is going to be absolutely massive imo. As those updates start rolling so will the SP climb..

Progress at 4D is building without doubt, its simply just data updates from trials taking time. None of the updates so far have disappointed as far as I'm concerned, in fact the polar opposite, they have been bloody brilliant. The last two small updates actually delivered VERY encouraging results if you read them. They have 14 projects ongoing all going well.

Blautix - IBS - which on its own is frankly worth more than the current market cap.
"The efficacy and clean safety profile of Blautix presents an attractive package and a competitive position compared to what is currently available to prescribe to IBS patients."

MRx-4DP0004 - Asthma
"Meets primary endpoint of safety and tolerability. Achieved multiple key secondary endpoints relating to improved asthma control"

BUT the game changer 0518 which data is due out on any moment, has been nothing negative on it, it is proven safe and is going from strength to strength. Data on this one could blow the current SP away.

I was further encouraged by an article later on Friday, compliments of @AJS on twitter, from the Microbiome Summit where they were Focusing on CDI Microbiome modulation and how treating that might help enhance responses to immunotherapy where Jennifer Wargo from MD Anderson Cancer Centre in the US described her investigations of microbiome modulation’s role in cancer treatment:-
“I used to say, yes we can do this, somewhat enthusiastically without data, BUT now we have data to support, so the answer now is totally YES”

Now, as far as I’m concerned, I am totally convinced of the link between the microbiome and many illnesses. For me what we eat possibly is changing the bacteria’s in the gut and could well be contributing to cancer not to mention numerous lifestyle illnesses.

Should the data readouts on 0518 be positive we will see a step change here in the share price like no other. Those that thought GDR price rise on Friday of 103% have seen nothing compared to when this is proven.

Some may recall that at the end of 2019 going into 2020 4D pharma were collaborating with MSD to develop Live Biotherapeutics for vaccines. So this program is just over 2yrs old now, still early days but ongoing.

I posted on Wednesday that I considered it a done deal as the messages from Suzy remained incredibly bullish. Clearly the market thinks it a done deal as the share price has bounced back 50% in so many days, which is a positive.

For me I can’t find any information or structure of this business stateside and I don’t like that personally as I feel I cant know what they can’t or can’t fund to make a firm analysis of risk but as you rightfully say had it been undisclosed the SP may of faired better for it. Although that being said, the company still get criticism that 301 is going on with little in the way of updates and with that one being undisclosed creates more doubt in some ways. If you know it’s a major Pharma there is a certain comfort in that.

Not sure about your final paragraph directed to me and southern exactly what you mean? Let’s go along with your positivity on the cash flow runway. I am not so confident myself but let’s just say say it’s covered. How exactly are we going to fund a lab to form the new service SPV in the business without raising for it? That bit I just don’t get? If that can be done without a placement I will look at taking my holding back up to 1.5m

Also, because it’s a live chat and a number of those commenting are chatting and going off tangent, one even droning on about Thatcher stealing milk off babies, I mean come on its 2022 now keep to the point, it becomes too heavy to absorb very quickly which is a dam shame.

Retail do not have the time to digest this information nor dig out just the saliant points hence, a wasted opportunity.
Anyone that knows anything about PR knows you will lose your audience after about 1min 40 secs max if they are not fully engaged, the longer it is the more audience you lose.

What 4D needed to do here was add 4 or 5 one and a half min video clips with subheadings just showing the slides with precis of the main points.

Anyhow it is what it is. Great Progress is being made just not hearing enough about it just yet. The results however should do much of the talking. Just a waiting game
