There can be no doubt after booking a slot and paying some up front reservation fee, he was aware that he didn't have the money to have an ASIC produced.

In which case he was misleading many people probably himself included. You have to wonder if this guy is all there if he is then it was all calculated!

Gardin wrote a detailed piece about QBT developing a 5 nm ASIC as follows

"The Company will, therefore, move directly to developing a 5nm ASIC prototype, although it will still consider a phase of testing, as an intermediate step, on the 12nm ASIC, as announced on 5 November 2021.

A Non-Disclosure Agreement (“NDA”) has been signed with an international research & development organisation, which is active in the field of nanoelectronics, and which will give the Company access to one of the few 5nm semiconductor fabrication plants currently operational in the world."

This was unbelievable fantasy created by Gardin. The costs to create a 5nm ASIC according to ARM Inc in 2022 were approximately $449 Million and even for a 28 nm device $48 Million. Google "Cost of Chip Design by Nanometer.

This was no off-the-cuff claim by Gardin he claims a NDA was signed and went into detail for the move to create an ASIC. All without apparently knowing the cost implications.

One wonders how much of other RNS are just a dream in this man's head

A rather one sided challenge and I doubt very much I would get a truthful answer from a man that likes to be always right.

You seem to favour very small caps and from memory you said you had £1000 invested in QBT. You have also stated I think, again from memory you are 60% down. But, I think recently you said you had bought more! That I doubt very much since you have also suggested you would leave on a decent spike. Obviously behind your bluster you have little faith in Gardin delivering the big pay day, very sensible. I think your strategy is preserving your savings by investing small amounts say 500 to 2000 and picking up the odd scraps on spikes.

Little and often, again sensible with the odd chance of a decent winner.

Unfortunately I suspect you like playing the big man but don't have the real wherewithal or perhaps your wench keeps you from frittered away more.

across a public forum I have many clues as to your holdings. The varasity of the information is another matter.

The passage of time and Gardin's failure to deliver on his RNS claims support the FT articles. Gardin and many other AIM directors appear able to tell the British public anything without redressed or apology.

Where is Gardin's apology for leading investors down the garden path with revenue by 2024 its now October 2025.

Agreed, there is no solid evidence that anything does what Gardin claims. There are no hard figures of what methods A and B can achieve and more importantly under what conditions with what rigs and ASICs. Whilst method C states 30%, even that figure is highly sceptical since simple math shows it should be 43%.

Gardin evades publishing facts and figures, a typical indicator that all is not as the picture many try to paint.

More waffle from Gardin. It's simple, if someone improves their hash rate by 160% then to keep pace you need to up your game by 160%.

Irrespective of "intrinsic nature" or however the improvement is achieved, an increase of 160% would require a matching 160% improvement. Typical jive drivel.
