RE: Commercial Deal with Volvo15 Sep 2022 17:48
Maidit:
Lets use some common sense. Assuming a 375 HP D13 and further assuming a 50% efficiency then there is approximately 375 HP /3 = 125 HP of waste energy flowing down the exhaust. So changing to Watts,
125 HP = 125 x 746 = 93,250 W
If that 64 KW was electrical power then the efficiency of the Stirling engine would be 64000/93250 = 69%
This would be a truly staggering Stirling engine efficiency and the company would be worth billions. This begs a couple of questions. Where is the patent for this amazing technology Why hasn't Volvo snapped up the company all ready , since they are working with In-spirit - supposedly !
Because it is heat energy ! As I've said several times, again assuming it is fact, since the input into the Helix Accelerator is not known then the output figure is meaningless.
But let's bash on and pretend it is all fact. How will the In-spirit Stirling engine designed for a heat input of 20 kW cope with a massive 64 kW, the thing will melt . Perhaps I exaggerate but it would certainly pose reliability problems.
In addition any exothermic reactions to 'amplify' heat have to be reversed by the application of energy the same energy given out otherwise the energy would have to come from a consumable source that requires replacement. You don't get energy for nothing !!
