I am a rational, analyst investing long term and I had been antagonised in the past 2 months by the the stocks I hold, solid, good news yet crashing down. I downloaded from LSE hundred of thousands of transactions on AZN, GSK, OBX, BA. WM to understand why there are not enough points of resistance and hardly slept few hours a day (yep I am a bit obsessive when things don't make sense).

I believed that the Bid/ Offer spread is calculated on the weighted average of the books which to my shock I discovered that spot transactions of a single share can drag the price down and there are dozens of them. Also I discovered that even that automatic trading exists as a mater of fact the computers IF would have had independent criteria then they would have created these points of SP resistance which I couldn't find - even on good news the stocks were going down.

The most enlightening finding which I want to share with you (not to make the same mistake as me to get out of certain positions in panik) is that there is only e very weak correlation between the number of shares traded and th % dropped, meaning that a very low number of shares traded (over the counter "OTC") could significantly drag the shares down.

So I moved from the technical analysis into the social media to find out why the SP resistance points are not working. To my shock I found out ex traders who lost their jobs in the Fin Criss set u these "academies" coordinating thousands of people across the world to whom they facilitate credit lines (they don't trade with full SP cost but OTC contracts ) and they don't even need a trading licence because they convinced "the middle class fool" that can get rich quickly. These Shorting attacks are coordinated on computers MLM (multi level marketing structures). TR 64, it is infuriating, I can't find the TR1 but in the past I found the FCA failing system very poor , many of the papers I found on US sites.

you fill find the L&G movement i mentioned , I will keep searching as it is bizarre indeed

I read all the postings on this thread and I can not find any significant shorting atak as I see on OBX which drives me nuts. However I see that this year a major shareholder L&G has halved its huge position on 14 Jan and I do not understand why

No other major position was taken by any other major institution, I can't found if these shares have yet been all disposed in the market or some still with some trading houses to do it gradually. I can't find either if L&G is on liquidity pressure or they are worried about any structural issues

definitely not as on other SP I can see the currencies f.ex in AZN if someone registered on SEX wants to trade on LSE I can see the currency different. So definitely not. Have a look what an UT code transaction is, it is on LSE and the shares change the legal ownership with a modic price without cash changing hands across LSE platform.

I a curious to see how the SP would behave without an out of hours UT ...

I listen to his comments and he was not very enthusiastic even with his contagious optimism he said "it is not going to be a big bang". I may be presumptuous that B is always on exaggerating the positive then taken his comments as a delay in production or functional issues.

Would please anyone enlighten me why BA. SP falls given the potential higher demand due to the political agenda and the increasing number of contracts? I am lost .... someone here may be smarter than me to explain this yoyo on a such stable co

maybe the drop will be neutralised with the news that today will start the vaccination in India, produced locally . God knows how other investors would interpret and weight it... I can't make any sense of these erratic market moves.....
