please clarify would you expect he drop after the ex div 18th Feb or after payment date 8 April ? Can a div be paid on a non holding share?

kernowlad I thought few times that OXB may be one trick pony, but then I asked myself why so many hedge funds are so heavily invested 48% of holdings. Now another one got invested.

Any thoughts on this?

Re "we are in difficult times" I go through an existential crisis. I hold Lockheed Martin US defence with space projects, very good results last week. All the board is amazing ex pilots, combat experience, public relations and banking backgrounds. I am in total shock to see it going down.

OK I will put GSK to rest and not look at it for few months as all of you suggested, but I can't sleep asking myself where does the world go? If Lockheed Martin with finances secured for the next 5 years, constantly outperforming expectations, innovative space projects, cyber security focus goes down ,does the market has any logic anymore? Where are the anchors or the future society? Did the financial market turn into a casino play so w just have to look to accumulated probabilities, gradients and momentum of the trades? It would be a sad place to abjure strategy to greed.

denby69 please post more how you keep your sanity and I swing between fury and resignation. I refuse to sell as in one of the companies I used to work for I went through a demerger and it had a definite positive effect as it helped to focus the management on specific targets otherwise the company was so big and spread that the management was running as headless chickens from fighting a fire to another having no time for strategy.

So while my rational part of the brain tell me to hold the emotional one spins me in fury as the management is not able to articulate the progress. I wold appreciate any successful coping strategies to prevent me to sell. Should I ask GSK to produce a coping vaccine or a pill?

I wander if Vitruvian would increase their holdings from Vulpes or from market. I download all the transactions daily history on the shares I hold and I see on OXB in the last few days serious points of resistance people hold and don't want to sell minutes at the time with no transactions and then a single one share transaction fired, I assume to move the market and not let it stand still.

As OXB SP is moving closed to the analysts median I am antagonised of which way it will go. The lack of communication is chronic, I even wrote to Diggle, not that I would have expected him to reply or take my message into consideration, just to signal that it may affect the market performance.

Any bets if it will go up or down with arguments why?

I am an natural obsessive researcher which has its good and bad things attached to it.

I found dozens to US "how to trade" websites more like a MLM structures and advertisement for trading platforms. Both GSK and AZN are very low graded because the only major criteria they use is moving average, iterative gradient calculation and momentum meaning that when it goes down there is no stop in the algorithm itself. The only points of resistance could be intervention from large pension funds which they may not be bother if they move away as well to other investment vehicles or people stopping to sell which is my biggest question.

I am bothered by the sheer number of One share tradings which I study for months on several shares. One here suggested that they may be "residuals" from transactions. I tested this theory and it doesn't seem to hold water as the prices are with 4 decimals meaning that the transaction on any amount can not miss a share and because some times are in long sequences and during the day time. If they would be residuals they would appear before the market opens aor after it closes which is not the case.

Also these one share transactions seem to have a price disproportionate lower than the previous dozens of transactions which makes me to assume that they may be used by shorters ot by the trading platforms themselves to break points of resistance when people don't want to see to inflict a sell message in the market.

This board has a lot of knowledge, so any tangible documented assumption, links what these one share tradings are and where I should look for more information about them?

21 - 28 Jan it was a high around 76-79. 5 days of predominantly buys, thank you for the link on GSK. I did a lot of research and I can't trace the reason for the high at all. I didn't sell because I thought that the results will push it even higher (silly me)

1. Does anyone know what it may have been the reason at that high?
2. What set of circumstances may be in reach, given that all the good news didn't do any good so far may be needed to get o that point again?

On the 4th I wrote to Iain Mackay, the FD and Emma advising that they may need some training in PR, address the lack of strategy and the fact that closing accounts is not the same with Financial Reporting which is required by the analysts and bankers. I was so frustrated with the drop today that I tried to send another email but Iain had changed his email address :) I can only assume that many people may have done the same so I had to write to the media contact and investors one.

I don't think I will have the nerve to see it dropping any further; would alcohol help? Any other suggestion of coping mechanisms?

PLEASE Toff reply to the 21-28 Jan AZN question and let's move on from this cat fight it is stressful enough.
Even my US security LMT behaves so metal that I may rather not touch my account for 10 years and see what it will be then.

Toff, someone on this board suggested that you and TR may be the same. I disagreed, but after this post I start to believe that he/she may be right.

Spikeyj by no mean could be labeled as a troll, I was disturbed by TR64's insults to several people including myself, constant obsessive rambling about same things all over again and again clattering both this board nd the GSK one with posts as matter of opinion rather than providing the links to the data and let us interpret it based on our skills and experience.

TR64 definitely has 2 profiles as all his posts insulting people has a recommendation and apart from yourself (it is not the first time I prompted you to put your points across without any personal attacks) no one behaves in the similar manner as TR. So I have to apologise to the person who put across the suggestion as now it is the 6th time you defended TR on both boards.

Well your statement should have read "in my opinion Spikeyj is a troll" NOT that he is one. I assume that you know and understand the implications of the difference.

If TR had been cautioned by LSE it means that several people complained so I kindly ask you to stop personal attacks on anyone on this board as we just had a couple of days of decent conversations and I intend to keep it this way.

CSDI1962 Thanks for the link, very good on the technical chart volume +/_ vs price, LSE has it as well but it is 4 days old, this one is at the end of the day, I will check if it works intraday as well.

I ma particularly interested to analyse the tradings on the days when it is a very low volume of trading (no of shares) but a disproportionate high drop.

"I think toffappleton1 = TRG4 the same person" I observed both closely, Toff is much more rational and just sarcastic at the times, TR64 was insulting everyone around I witnessed at least 6-7 abominable posts so I am not sure that they are the same.

I am glad TR is gone so at least we can have some decent, respectful, exchanges of ideas and learn from each other experiences.

Could anyone explain how AZN could end in red after such results

I blamed Emma for everything it happen on GSK last week, the question is even with a stelar results and prospects it still end in red.

What it is going on? BAE is the same every week wire new contracts and still going down... It defeats my rationale - could anyone enlighten me?

We just manage to survive the TR64 insults, I can't understand why knowledge can not be expressed with charm and grace rather than sarcasm. You are better than that.
