Not so fast perhaps. Could slip back to £100. Depends on mood for FTSE 100
Bought a nice 166 shares today - She's going up!
Sorry mate.
Didn't understand what you was saying.
A bit cryptic for me. I'm from Yorkshire & we just say it how it is. :-)
Now is the time to buy!
"Confused" is a tad overgenerous given his previous post regarding "A string of failures lately". Math is obviously another weak point. One to file under "ignore" LOL
Added 200 more shares here this morning. Future is bright.
Being shorted .
Love it. :-)
[hint: “… now under 10£…” - have you checked where the decimal point comes with this share?]
“… two years ago this share was 30£ …”
i think winkleberry is confused, at best.
What is going on two years ago this share was 30£ now under 10£ alarm bells should be ringing, I still believe this is a great share but not for the faint hearted.this was once the toast of the Fste 100.A good time to buy I hope, alot of brokers have not got this wrong! They believe in Astra Zeneca.
....Finally gone below 100. Hope it's not signs of an even longer slippery slope?
It's a hold for me. Could take some large profits here today, but will hold for some more gold.
From low 10's to low 11's.... Three week hold?
Well said grayling. Share price failing ( as most others have ) but a lot of lives being saved. Hopefully, I'll never have to use any AZN meds ! Have a great weekend
What "string of failures" are you talking about? Since July this year these are the clinical trial and product updates:
Imfinzi combination improves PFS in liver cancer
Dato-DXd improved PFS in breast cancer
Enhertu recommended in EU for HER2-mutant NSCLC
Fasenra Phase III EGPA trial met primary endpoint
Beyfortus approved in US for infant RSV prevention
Against this you have ONE failure and that is in end-stage (non-resectable) non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) one of the most intractable and inevitably terminal forms of lung cancer. Can't you read?
We could do with some good news, there has been a string of failures lately, I know this is a high tech stock I am in two minds to bail out there are safer havens let's hope the slimming pil is a great success.
Is this magic pill we have all been waiting for if so AstraZeneca should capetelize on it don t let all the fatties have it for nothing advertise this product on the telly spread the good word lets sell this it this could be 5he best thing sinse sliced bread.
How so given that AZN provided it's vaccine "at cost" (unlike Pfizer) and was attacked on here by many posters for not making a huge profit from it?
Both companies should be facing class actions for fraud and extortion (if not worse) during COVID.
Interesting to compare our fortunes with those of our erstwhile suitor Pfizer! Pfizer slipped 1.6% to $28.96 Monday closing at its lowest share price since March 26, 2020, continuing the pharmaceutical giant’s struggles tied to declining demand for its Covid-19 products and essentially wiping out the entirety of the firm’s peak pandemic gains. There were many on here who complained that AZN was "off the pace" in the vaccine race and failed to monetize their competitive advantage when they got their vaccine into the clinic. Instead by concentrating on future revenues in Oncology and growth in other therapeutic areas they have avoided the Covid19 hangover. Who was smartest now?
.....$h!t€ day on the equities market of this failing country....oops, I meant failed !
Related issues in some ways, given the strong statistical evidence that obesity is a significant risk factor for many kinds of cancers.
Good Q3 results ahead of expectations and an uplift to expected results.
AZ on form.
New China deal for a weight loss drug is a bargain….if it works. Oncology has received lots of attention, the world is now turning to obesity as its number one medical problem that needs solutions.
