Want to buy another tranche but keen to avoid any more cuts from catching falling knives as per my recent disasters with some other shares ! Do others with better technical knowledge than me have any ideas on target buy in prices. I was aiming for 9820 - 9850p to average down after the recent falls but now wondering if it could fall further to the 9500-9700p levels?
Narcus - yes the ex div date for the interim dividend was delayed in 2020 because Vodafone was in the process of transferring its registrar services to Equiniti so they set a later date than in previous years (17/12/20 compared to 28/11 in 2019).
Manunited31 Think SD235 is correct as the 5 year chart on LGEN's own website and Shares Magazine's website both record a High of 324.70 on 13 Dec 2019 - both links given below. A spike possibly? Would love to see that High repeated!!

Punishing day across the board but RDSB one of only 6 FTSE100 stocks that ended up blue today (just!).
RDSB Royal Dutch Shell Plc B Shares 1,427.40 +7.00 +0.49%
Good call AimMaster2018 - a red finish but very close at the end. Dispiriting seeing huge (paper) sums wiped off the portfolio again, not just CPI, all of my holdings. Thought we had seen the back of those days and were beginning to come good finally, so hoping you're spot on and we get a further rise on Monday. Roll on some positive news at the end of the month, patience is wearing thin and we holders need a break pretty please!
Great to see RDSB finishing as the 3rd highest riser today, up 2.56%. Onwards and upwards please!
Suspect in the absence of news, the repetitive daily trend and narrow SP range is due to low volumes and day trading. Many holders and LTH's in particular are waiting patiently for a much higher SP range as per Know0's targets. Trading picked up when the SP rose to 50p levels and I don't think that volumes will pick up until the SP rises back to and above the 50p level. Personally looking for 60p minimum for first trade.
Decision will be made on 2nd June, but it is fairly definite that Royal Mail will move up to the FTSE100 to replace Renishaw which will go down to the FTSE250. Apparently it isn't as simple as a simple assessment of a company's market cap, which would allow ITV to move up. According to Hargreaves Lansdown, "To be relegated a company's market value must be below that of the top 10 companies beneath it and to gain promotion a FTSE 250 company's valuation must exceed that of the bottom 10 in the FTSE 100." ITV's market value isn't greater than the value of the bottom 10 companies in the FTSE100 currently, so assume there would have to be a lot of share price shenanigans between now and 2nd June to impact the value sufficiently. Seems unfair though!
Well guess that's going to be a no to ITV promotion- given RMG's SP rose 23.6p yesterday and is up 39.40 giving an mcap of £5.89 at present. Rather wish I had purchased some Royal Mail shares last week. At least the RMG chat board is getting excited!
ITV is one of four FTSE 250 companies which have a higher market cap than the bottom four in the FTSE 100 according to the current table @ https://www.londonstockexchange.com/indices/ftse-250/constituents/table?lang=en, so should be a favourite for promotion to the FTSE100 in the June reshuffle in theory.
FTSE 250 Top 4 by market cap RMG - 5.264, ITV - 5.180, ECM - 4.840 and DOCS - 4.808
FTSE 100 Bottom 4 by market cap WEIR - 4.765, BLND - 4.750, AVST - 4.668 and RSM - 3.905
Question is do people think the ITV share price will be forced down to high 119/low 120's this week to prevent that happening or will we actually make it back to the FTSE 100 this time?
Likewise I searched several sites but all shareholder lists were dated as of 31/03/2021! Is there a requirement to notify holdings quarterly? If so it may be that all will become clear (or less opaque) at end of June.
