I disagree, based on my experience online is not the best option, if I had to rely on it I would end up starving to death.

Being in the vulnerable category I'd rather avoid getting the virus if possible. However if it means that your share portfolio will increase in value then perhaps my death and the death of thousands of others is worth it.

You should never rely on anything with shares, there is always an element of risk, that is why on average you make more on shares than you do with money in the bank.

Fundamentals are only a part of share price valuation. A share's value is mostly driven by what is expected in the future, not what has happened in the past. If you don't realise this then you probably shouldn't be investing in shares until you have more knowledge.

I have tried to order online from various retailers but either they are not taking new customers or there is no delivery slot in the next 2 weeks. I am in the 1.5 million vulnerable group so I thought there might be some flexibility but obviously not. I will stick to normal store shopping in the future, much more reliable and cost effective.

Nige, having been a director I can assure you they are the people that manage the company. I'm not quite sure who you class as an executive.
Also, unfortunately the BOD do not always act in the best interests of shareholders, human nature I'm afraid.

Nige, I'm sure there is logic to your £5 valuation and having small investments in TW and PSN I hope you are proved correct. However fundamental analysis only seems to play a small part in a shares valuation, you only have to look at some of the volatility of many companies over the last couple of weeks as evidence of that. Companies with large debt piles tend to suffer in difficult times so TW is in a good place on that score. However high dividends are often a pre-cursor to a falling share price so we shall see.

Fortunately I spread my investments across 20 shares so even if PMO went to zero it would only cost me 5%.
