If you're referring to the OM award, then you couldn't be more WRONG, as over 10 years ago RKH hadn't even thought about even taking any such action and now they have an award of over €200M plus monthly interest of about €1.5M. So why do you tack your comment to the end of your bit about the conclusion of the OM award?

If your comment applies to SL project progress, then WRONG again - in those over 10 years, PMO and HE have come and gone, having shown complete inability to run such a project and walked away. Whereas Navitas, are really getting their teeth into this, with no sign of giving up, or being overwhelmed, as well as inheriting all PMO's work, which must be saving quite a bit of time / effort / cost, even if some of it is rubbish.

If your comment applies to the relationship with FIG, then WRONG again. During those 10 years the FIG Chief Executive told all oil company staff to 'bugger off' if they didn't want to do things his way, which, of couse, they duly did, whereas this year you have Gideon Tadmor going to the FI to sort out details with FIG, which they're doing - they didn't tell him and his Navitas team to 'bugger off' did they?

Decidedleaverage, I have no particular allegiance with RKH and its management, except that as a shareholder, I wish them to do well and certainly better than they have in recent years.

I must correct you on one VERY important point: It wasn't RKH and its management who have 'cried wolf' as you put it, but the likes of Tony Durrant (PMO's CFO and then CEO), who made numerous announcements (usually in interviews and unofficial statements) about FID and SL project progress.

None of his predicted events (which had a dramatic effect on the RKH sp) ever came to fruition.

PMO just weren't up to the job and eventually went under because of excessive debt - something that hasn't happened to RKH, has it.

Harbour Energy (PMO's successor) weren't a lot better, announcing that SL was part of its Worldwide expansion strategy, even including maps of SL and the FI in their publicity. As with PMO, none of that materialised either, with HE finally giving up altogether.

You really cannot hold Sam Moody accountable for the PMO's dismal performance and HE changing their minds.

I expect you'll find that RKH and Sam in particular were as fed up as the rest of us.

I would add that Sam Moody has been extremely careful NOT to make unsupported and misleading announcements and promises. I would say that he has certainly NOT 'cried wolf'.

If you believe differently, then please give JUST ONE example where he has.

Now things really ARE happening, but unlike with PMO & HE, Navitas don't go around making meaningless, misleading announcements and promises.

If you still have a gripe, I suggest you have a shout at PMO and HE, while leaving RKH and Navitas to get on with their work without unnecessary distractions.

Latics - you need to explain your statement:

Only certain AIM shares qualify for IHT exemption and I believe oil/gas exploration companies do not.

Better check - the ultimate authority in which do or do not is HMRC, who are very unlikely to answer an individual's question, although you could try.

For those who aren't sure, warrants options for RKH shares from last year's Open Offer, held in an ISA, could only be held in that ISA for 30 days, after which the broker will move them into a normal trading account. If you didn't have a normal trading account, most brokers would have opened such an account for you, where you will find the warrants listed, with zero value. That will have happened last year.

If you wanted to take-up the warrants option, at the time of the Open Offer last year, they cost 9p each (as they still do), whereas the RKH sp was around 7p at that time.

If your objective was to make money, you'd have bought any additional shares you wanted for 7p. If you wanted to make a generous donation to RKH cash reserves, you could have exercised your warrants while they were still in your ISA, but that would have cost you 9p and you would have been limited to the number of warrants issued to you. Some may have done this (in order to keep the converted warrant shares in their ISA), but I can't imagine many did.

Where we are now: Any un-excercised warrants will be held in normal trading accounts, not in ISAs. Even if Navitas walks away (very unlikely), the RKH sp is probably underpinned by the ICSID award being paid eventually, so the warrants currently offer free money, which is likely to increase before they expire on 31/12/23.

Any profits gained from your warrants may still be tax-free, assuming you don't exceed your annual CGT allowance, so not much to moan about.

Just keep calm and make sure your broker does as they're instructed.

While it's definitely another positive step in the right direction, it's nothing to get too excited about yet.

If RKH do decide to sell all / part of the award, this just increases the sale value a little bit.

I do think the moaners need to remind themselves that we're arguing over trivia, while waiting for far more important news from Navitas.

18 months ago, the same moaners were saying there'd be no award at all. Look how wrong they were then, if we're now deliberating how much of €250M (or so) RKH is going to get eventually.

Let's just look at one of your points: RKH never extracting the ICSID award from Italy. I think you make a good point about Italy - notoriously dishonest governments led by the likes of Bunga-Bunga Berlusconi, which of course is why RKH are employing the expertise of K&S, widely regarded as one of the best in the World and funded by Harbour. Now experienced experts like that wouldn't pursue such a ludicrous claim (as you suggest) if they weren't pretty confident they were going to win AND get the money, would they?

Maybe they were so stupid as not to consult with you first? Rather than wearing-out your fingers posting here, you'd better get onto K&S and Harbout first thing tomorrow morning to tell them what idiots they have been.

It's OK to jabber endlessly here while we sit here waiting for some tangible news, but probably more productive to wait until we hear something worthwhile and in the mean time, get on with something useful.

I think we should have learnt by now that Navitas will only announce something, when they believe it's appropriate.

We know that things are progressing (because of the various posts that have been advertised and filled and then more jobs advertised).

Oil price remains reasonably strong and VERY favourable for SL to go into production.

Everyone's looking for energy security. We just can't survive without abundant energy supply, even though we all know that fossil fuels are bad for our health.

There's always a possible banana skin which could crash the project, but at the moment, I really cannot see this one not happening.
