..... of information that's out there - and as far as CyanConnode is concerned, CyanConnode have provided what it is able to provide.

Individual CyanConnode and Partners contracts, are spread over a possible overall 10 year contract period. Taking into account the original order, the installation period and the Support & Maintenance contract. So the market will not fully recognize what is going to happen in 2/4/6/8/10 years time, until it happens.

CyanConnode is also in the early stages of the Indian Smart Meter Project at the moment, with a limited number of contracts filtering down to the sub-contractors. As this progresses over time, with potentially more RF/RF-Cellular contracts being Awarded to CyanConnode and Partners, then the overall financial potential for CyanConnode, will/should be recognized.

But I have been encouraged by the number of contracts that have been Awarded over the last few months and look forward to the next round of sub-contract Awards being made.

It is good to know that one/another of CyanConnodes Partners is gaining further traction in India and that the RDSS may get an extention to the original 5 year scheme. Which makes sence. The India Smart Meter Project is a big project, by any countries standards.

Overall Vas, a fairly comprehensive report from Miton. And they remain bullish for " ..... the coming quarters ..... " as you suggest, for CyanConnode, for orders to start to filter through from the utilities via the AMISP's.

So encouragingly, potentially some positive news to look forward too.

Over the years Vas, there have been many companies that have been put forward, by some, as an alternative to CyanConnode, which they may be. But that hasn't stopped CyanConnode from steadily gaining a very good posititon within the Indian Smart Meter Programme and globally gaining a reputation as a leading RF solution provider.

That is something we should not forget. But just to make my position clear, I am personally, still very upbeat about CyanConnode. As is yourself I feel and many more investors.

Others may have a different opinion, but that is their choice.

I suspect, from the quote that you have highlighted, that the Fund-Raise is part/was part, of IntelliSmarts long-term planning, as you would expect. Rather than any knee-jerk reaction to something that IntelliSmart had not seen as a possibility.

..... have released some information, which seems to have been updated today, which could give an insight into the Fund Raise at this particular time.

Under the heading of " Smart Meter Dashboard " :-

- Target - 84.06 Lakhs ( circa 8.4 million smart meters.)

- Installed - 42.28 Lakhs ( circa 4.22 million smart meters.)

So an anticipated potential of 4 million smart meters, that IntelliSmart are targetting. That's worth a Fund Raising, in my book.

As I have mentioned in the past, a Fund Raise for expansion, is far better than a Fund Raise for survival.

I see this IntelliSmart Fund-Raising, as confirmation that they, (IntelliSmart) are now more aware of the opportunities that may come their way and are raising funds for the potential contract Awards.

It was referred to as " We see this as helping to de-risk the opportunity with this important customer ...... " - in the report.

So as I mentioned previously, I see this as a positive way forward, for all involved. The Companies that are eventually Awarded contracts by IntelliSmart, can be comfortable in the knowledge that, as far as is practicably possible, that they will get paid.

I had just had notification of the IntelliSmart Fund Raising, which is excellent news. It would seem that many Companies will need funding to progress with the Indian Smart Meter Programme, not just CyanConnode.

I was just checking the time-line and the installation time period from 2020, would suggest that the majority, if not all of the smart meters have been installed. Even with the restrictions of COVID19. Therefore the Support and Maintenance contract could well be in play, at this particular time.

But contingency plans and costs may have been included in the S&M contract, or even in the overall contract.

Yes certainly, CyanConnode are providing a swift recovery service in re-connecting the smart meter infrastructure, in Chennai. But as we know, opinions differ on such information.

But I think it is very good service and also very good business sense.

Thank you for the latest encouraging news about Tamil Nadu, Vas. It is appreciated. As we are aware, as far as Tamil Nadu is concerned, various companies are waiting for some of the circa 30m smart meters that have been Sanctioned, to be Awarded.

Tamil Nadu, will be a very significant project, in India, for many companies.

Thank you for sharing the, what seems to be the latest information on IntelliSmart, it is appreciated. I do not recall seeing this specific report, dated 7th December, 2023, before, so it may be new.

Uttar Pradesh has been identified in the NSGM report that I posted yesterday, that was published on 29th November, 2023 and also in the Smart Energy International report, that I posted today.

From the report today:-

" The smart metering rollout portfolio, with a value of R200 billion ( US$2.4 billion ) has been boosted by awards in four states, including one project each in Uttar Pradesh, Assam and Bihar and two in Gujurat.

" The Uttar Pradesh project is noteable for being the largest award so far under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme for a national smart meter rollout and should see the installation of 6.7 million smart meters in 14 districts, under the jurisdiction of the distribution company, Pashchimanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited ( PVVNL )."

So, although some these projects may have been reported on individually, it is good to get them all identified inclusively, so that the IntelliSmart progress and success can be identified.
