Certainly, they both seemed fairly positive in August 2023. So they must be chomping on the bit, like some of us on the bb, at the possibility of potential news in the coming days/weeks/months.

I met Richard Penny briefly in London, some years ago, at a CyanConnode event. Glad to know he hadn't lost any of his enthusiasum for CyanConnode, in August 2023. His enthusiasum has hopefully increased over the last few month's or so, with the potential for orders gathering pace.

I noticed multibaggers post earlier, but had not had chance to mention it before. But all good reading. Multibagger does mention that they estimate CyanConnode are bidding for circa 178 million units in India.

But is the 60m that you mentioned, the number of units that you think CyanConnode could win? Genuinely interested.

Esyasoft, is head-quartered in Bangalore, India and backed by Abu Dhabi-based company,International Holding Company ( IHC ).

So as CyanConnode already have contacts/contracts in the MENA regions, you can see why the Esyasoft link may become strategically important, in the future. Although, I would say, Esyasoft have already been involved in projects, in at least 4 consortia that CyanConnode have been part of, so far, in the past.

So an interesting an influential company, in my opinion, that CyanConnode are involved with. One of many.

..... on the NSE ( National Stock Exchange of India ) HPL Electric and Power has increased by circa 24% ( at time of writing ) over the last 5 days of trading. Along with Genus Power Infrastructure, increased by circa 14% and NCC Ltd increased by circa 5%, over the last 5 days of trading.

So some encouraging headway being made in smart meter/smart grid/smart infrastructure stocks ( and CyanConnode Partners ) in India, which seems to be having the desired affect, with CyanConnode's share price. At the moment.

Let us hope it continues in a positive way, at least for a while, at least.

The UGVCL smart meter installation project was completed on 31st December, 2023, with 27,760 smart meters being installed by Genus Power and a 98% accurate & timely data confirmed.

Of the winners that you have pointed out in Maharashtra, three of the four are CyanConnode Partners, who are on the REC Empanelment List. Adani has not been recognised, as yet, on the CyanConnode Partner List. So something to look forward to.

There are nine so far I recall, that CyanConnode are Partnered with from the REC Empanelment List. IntelliSmart, MonteCarlo, HPL, Genus Power, Tata Power, NCC, Schneider Electric, Alfanar and Capital Power.

So any new potential orders, can come from a substatial pool of companies, that CyanConnode have on their Partner List. Hopefully, more will be added as the Smart Meter Programme progresses.

Sorry Vas, just noticed about delivery, from the 4th January, 2023 RNS:-

" The order relates to a smart metering deployment in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. It was won against a competitive field and supply of the Omnimesh Modules is expected to commence during Q1 of 2023."

An excellent find, Vas. But the CyanConnode RNS on 4th January, 2023, from MonteCarlo, only mentions " .... a smart metering deployment in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh." It does not mention anything about Maharashtra, which is the next State further south.

Could MonteCarlo be hinting to possibly another potential contract announcement for them, in Maharashtra? I do not know of any other MonteCarlo smart meter projects, in Maharashtra. But that does not mean that there aren't any, mind you.

But interesting information Vas, to get the old grey cells functioning.

It is good to see Vas, that global companies also, are gearing up - financially - so that they can get involved in the India Smart Meter Programme.

From the news report:-

" French government-owned utility services provider Electricite de France SA ( EDF ) is looking to raise more than $100 million for its smart meter platform, three people with knowledge of the development, said.

" The company is looking to bid for contracts in major cities across India " the first person cited above, said.

" A few strategics and climate funds have reached out to. It is still early days. The deal is likely to be closed in the first quarter of next calender year " the second person said.

It is good to see that commercial practicalities are being used by GMR, to help fund the various smart metering projects in Uttar Pradesh.

As there are circa 27m smart meters Awarded to date in Uttar Pradesh, via various DISCOMS, it is not suprising that funding is required, to some degree.
