And interestingly, as you mentioned Genus, Tamil Nadu - that has 30m Smart Meters " Sanctioned " - is still under starters orders, as far as the " Awarded " stage goes. But Genus Power were CyanConnode's Partner, I seem to remember, for CyanConnode's first order from Tamil Nadu ( TANGEDCO ).

So we will have to see how the next stage of the process develope's, over the coming month's, for CyanConnode and Partner's. But the Tamil Nadu project is far to big, I would think, to give to one AMISP.

I still remain tremendously upbeat about CyanConnode's position within the India Smart Meter Programme and also CyanConnode's global influence. Which is steadily gaining momentum I am sure, behind the scenes.

But all in my opinion, of course.

Mr. Shriprakash Tyagi, has apparently also worked for Wipro, Secure Meters, Reliance Infra and AMTL. It seems he has also worked for a time for Indus Towers ( formerly Bharti Infra ). I seem to remember we posted about Bharti Airtel quite recently Vas.

Different part of the Group probably, but he may still have contacts/connections there.

i suspect that the vodafone contract for 5 million smart meters, for haryana and uttar pradesh that you posted yesterday, may have its origins in the past, with the multi-million smart meter contract that was awarded during 2017 onward.

another similar contract was the one awarded to edf, for bihar, also for 5 million smart meters, which also my have its origins, i believe, with the original multi-million smart meter contracts, from 2018.

both contracts were originally awarded by eesl.

so both of these contracts, could be extentions of the original legacy contracts. but it is good to see that they are both progressing and contributing to the overall smart meter programme.
