There has been no increase in the number of smart meters Sanctioned or Awarded so far, this month, but the number of smart meters installed has increased by just under circa 1m smart meters to an overall installation total of 20,851,834.

It is encouraging to know that CyanConnode/CyanConnode India have invested in a strong technical team in India, to look after what is I seem to remember, is an order-book of 13m+ Omnimesh mobules, 2.3 million end-points, with experience with 16 utilities across 11 states. So far.

CyanConnode is growing into a very strong global, smart meter/solutions business, in India especially. But still has some way to go, I feel and further growth targets, to achieve.

Mr. Anil Rawal, MD & CEO of IntelliSmart commented:-

" Gas metering is a huge opportunity for IntelliSmart. My view is in this financial year, there will be tendering for at least 50,000 smart meters on gas and next year, you will see more numbers."

Within the CyanConnode Annual Report and Accounts, 2024, CyanConnode share-holders were informed that:-

" In August 2023, CyanConnode expanded its portfolio beyond electricity and water metering into gas metering, by successfully implementing a pilot project in Azerbaijan, a new market for CyanConnode. This initiative involved supplying smart retrofit hubs gateways, based on long-range ( LoRa ) technologies for existing gas meters, facilitating automated meter data collection.. This underscores CyanConnode's prowess in providing multi-utility solutions."

So CyanConnode have a known Indian Partner in IntelliSmart and a potential Partner within Azerbaijan, that have both carried out gas smart metering pilots over the last 18 months or so.

John Cronin commented:-

" I am delighted to announce CyanConnode's largest order to date, from a global Partner, with whom we have successfully collaborated on various projects over the years. A very good report from Maruthi Mallepalli, published yesterday, 28th January, 2025, highlighting some of the AMI Implementation Challenges, Technical Challenges and other Related Challenges, that have been recognised in India, in connection with the India Smart Meter Programme.

But none of the " .... challenges ..... " seem insurmountable, at least as far as I am concerned. It is never to late, to start to understand the task that is before you. Especially with an installation programme that is expected to go on for a number years, in India.

Or maybe it is some investors who did their own research and decided to invest in the potential for future orders. There have been some little snippets of information recently, that have been very encouraging that I would not class as being " ..... naughty ...... ". Just general information.

And there have been a few 100,000, some 100,000+ Buy trades over the last week, that have been very encouraging indeed, which has helped to stimulate the share-price over the last few days. Along with " Mr or Mrs Unknown " popping up every now and then, to contribute in on way or another.
