Good morning Vas, gizmo and all.

It is certainly encouraging to know that the multi-million smart meter tenders for the Tamil Nadu projects, are beginning to be reported, although from this particular Indian Express report, they guardedly confirm that " Adani firm may win ...." and " .... a final decision on the Award of the contract is yet to be made."

But progress, as you have indicated Vas, is publicly being made in respect of the Tamil Nadu project. So thank you Vas and gizmo, for bringing it to our attention.

It is also good to know that the Tamil Nadu project is going to be implemented in circa 8 million smart meter contracts ( Packages ), but still a substantial contract(s) to win, when the decisions are finally made.

I commented on the inclusion of Landis & Gyr as a member of the ISGF, on 10th November, 2024, along with other new members Genus Power, Fuji Electric and CyanConnode PVT Ltd ( Page 2 ). Also in the India Smart Grid Bulletin, was a mention for CyanConnode's recent 6.5 million Omnimesh order ( Page 7 ).

Landis & Gyr have not been very active in India over recent years, to my knowledge. They were involved in a pilot project in Delhi, pre-RDSS and were successful for a number of years in projects for WBSEDCL, but I cannot remember anything in India recently.

There is a large project for WBSEDCL ( West Bengal ) ongoing at the moment, under RDSS, for circa 20.7m smart meters, of which circa 3.7m smart meters have been Awarded to Iskraemeco India/Polaris/GVPR and Apraava.

There is also a project for WBSEDCL for 480,790 smart meters, which has yet to be Awarded and the AMISP/SI nominated

So it may be significant that Landis & Gyr may be again taking an interest in India.

Landis & Gyr are, from what I can remember, Partners of CyanConnode in some Nordic contracts.

That's circa £23.3m, over 2 quarters. A reasonable advert for the success of the project and well done to all concerned, I would say.

Good morning all,

The Sanctioned and Awarded number of meters remains unchanged, while we wait for news to be processed through the system, down to the AMISPs/System Integrators.

The number of smart meters installed in India, as of 27th November, 2024, stands at 470,617, with the Cumulative Achievement for installed smart meters now standing at 16,575,145 in total.

There are 2 substantial multi-million smart meter projects, still to be Awarded. Punjab/PSPCL has 8,784,,807 smart meters and Tamil Nadu/TANGEDCO has 30,000,000 smart meters yet to be Awarded.

So still some meaty contracts yet to be made public and processed.

Thank you for the information, it is much appreciated and I agree. India is progressing quite well from where it was 10/15 years ago. But still some way to go yet, infrastructure wise and also smart technology.

You are welcome tonyj. Your memory serves you well, with Indore 1 and 2, being very successful projects for CyanConnode in Madhya Pradesh, some years ago now, which should hopefully bode well for CyanConnode in any future negotiations.

With the Support & Maintenance contracts activated/negotiated for both contracts, you would think, by now.

There are 3 electric smart meter projects, that are ongoing at the moment in Madhya Pradesh, totalling circa 13 million smart meters Sanctioned, of which circa 4.5 million have been Awarded.

All the above smart meter projects in Madhya Pradesh are progressing, with the latest one starting during August 2024, with circa 1 million smart meters installed, over the 3 projects, so far.

In answer to your question, tonyj, I would think that companies like Axia Investment and any other investment company worth their salt, have a business development department looking very closely and continuously for any market/investment opportunities that may present itself ( They do their own research, to coin a phrase ) and make their investment when the time is right for them.

So if you want my opinion, on what " ...... has spiked their interest ...... " in CyanConnode, it is exactly that.

Although Axia Investment have invested quite strongly in CyanConnode recently, I would think that Axia ( and others ) have had their eyes open to an investment opportunity for some time in CyanConnode and now feel that the time is right.

Just my opinion, tonyj.
