The Times of India report seems to confirm that there are still two consortiums in the final stages of this particular tender process.

From the report:-

" The techno-commercial bid was opened with two agencies - DigiSmart Networks Ltd ( lead consortium member ) and CWD Ltd ( consortium member ) and Adani Transmission Ltd ( lead consortium member ) and Esyasoft Technologies Pvt Ltd ( consortium member ), bidding for the tender."

So still at least one final hurdle to navigate, I feel, until the winner of this particular tender can be made public, by the winning consortium.

No problem. My opinion on 19th March, 2025, was that the investment from Axia Investments was a " ..... strategic investment .... " which in theory, all investments are, to the individual. But how strategically timed the investment from Axia will be, we have yet to find out. 1 month/3 months/6 months? But I would imagine that John/Heather/CyanConnode will want to keep the interest payments, in cash terms, to a minimum.

But the investment has been made and CyanConnode have indicated that it is to be used for:- " AMISP tenders require bidders to demonstrate access to upfront capital and the funding from Axia Investments ensures that DigiSmart is well-prepared to participate in and secure these high-value contracts."

So time will tell. Eventually.

The Cumulative Achievement ( Total Installations ) for the Indian Smart Meter Projects, now stands at 23,949,627, with the March 2025 installations figure standing at 1,302,842, so far.

There is no further movement on Sanctioned or Awarded smart meter contracts, although the figures show that there are a substantial number of contracts that have been Awarded, that are still filtering their way down, to the relevant sub-contractors.

The " Long-Term Financing Growth Strategy " mentioned in the RNS yesterday, specifically, " In addition to securing this loan, the Company is actively assessing a range of long-term financing options to support its accelerating growth and ensure CyanConnode maintain the financial flexibility to capitalise on increasing demand for its smart metering solutions, while driving continued expansion ".

This could mean that this format if proved successful, as I am sure it will be, could be a blue-print for future, global growth, as well as expanding in India, until the structure of CyanConnode is financially strong enough to carry the load, independently.

A good financial strategy, I feel.

Some welcome news from Axia Investments this morning, with a further investment that in my opinion, positions CyanConnode financially, in a more favourable position to undertake any AMISP contracts that it may be in a position to win.

A comment by Axia Investments Limited:-

" We are pleased to be able to support CyanConnode. We understand the importance of ensuring it has the capital to execute on the market opportunities before it. The Company's track record in India is impressive and the market opportunity is significant."

John Cronin also commented:-

" The Indian smart metering market continues to gain momentum and we are seeing a high level of activity.. It's a pleasure to work with Axia, our major share-holder, who not only closely monitors the market, but also has a deep understanding of our business and the opportunities ahead. The new capital will enable us to bid for and hopefully win, near-term AMISP tenders while maintaining a strong balance sheet."

So, well done to all concerned, in putting this additional financial arrangement in place.

" The Company's Indian subsidiary, DigiSmart Networks Private Limited, (" DigiSmart "), qualified last year as an Advance Metering Infrastructure Service Provider ("AMISP"), positioning CyanConnode to bid directly for large-scale smart metering tenders in India.

" AMISP tenders require bidders to demonstrate access to upfront capital and the funding from Axia Investments ensures that DigiSmart is well-prepared to participate in and secure these high-value contracts.

" The loan, which the Company intends to draw-down in full, is primarily in place to support current AMISP bids nearing completion, as well as providing working capital."

A good and welcome strategic investment by Axia Investments, I feel. And more than likely, strategically timed, also.

Good evening all,

An interesting report, as always, from Ajoy Rajani, highlighting the benefits gained from the deployment/integration of In-Meter Gateways, into Omnimesh enabled RF smart meters.

The report also looks into the " ...... advantages and limitations ...... " of both RF and Cellular and where best to deploy each solution.

The report provided, published earlier today, shows the four different sizes of smart meter projects covered, ranging from a project of 200,000 smart meters to projects of 2 million+ smart meters. Interestingly some of the AMISPs are known Partners of CyanConnode.
