I would prefer it if CyanConnode developed the areas it can do, in India, in respect of RF, independently, leaving it free and able to develop other global markets, independently.

The acrylic area to the base of the meter, looks like it could be an " Add-on " to me. What it is exactly for, not sure at the minute. But if it is an " Add-on," then what is housed in the base section, is now required going forward, but would not fit inside the standard meter.

Save scrapping all the already manufactured meters.

Just a thought.

If you tap on the photograph, the meter shown is a Genus meter which also advertizes EESL on the front of the meter, but this particular model does not seem to have the keypad facility on the front, from what I can see.

But it does mention that " You can recharge your electricity account in advance."

So there may be an aperture/facility in the acrylic area at the base of the meter, that accepts your card and allows you to top-up. Or maybe just use your mobile phone, for this particular model.

Sorry, missed a bit. The report refers to it as " re-charge." We possibly refer to it as " top-up."

Could be just down to different terminology.

By the look of the key-pad, to the top right-hand side of the meter, shown in the picture provided with-in the report, I would suggest that your observation about putting " .... a PIN code in and then Utility takes payment from your debit card for set amounts of units " may well be correct.

This would work if you personally did not have a mobile, but it uses the same process/principle, if you do.

Although the report in EPR magazine, is not specifically about CyanConnode, there is a contribution from Rajiv Kumar, Managing Director and CEO, of CyanConnode India, that may add to the overall interest of the report.

Hopefully, over the next few weeks/months, CyanConnode will begin to gain some further traction.

The next stop will be the Full Year 2021/2022 Results, which shouldn't be far away, now. But a good Trading Update has already been presented, preparing the way for the updated financial and trading results confirmation, at end of year.

Hello Inthetin,

Looking back over the years, there has been a huge amount of hard work that has gone into developing the India smart meter market, specifically. And other global markets. From the various BoD, senior management and staff generally, at CyanConnode. So from my point of view, CyanConnode have created their own luck in India. Hopefully, it will pay-off even further, to CyanConnode's and share-holders advantage.

We have had disappointments along the way and there will be disappointments in the future. But not to many, hopefully. Such is life.
