Bid information, post bidding, has taken sometime in the past, although the recent introduction of IntelliSmart has provided some encouragement that the situation is improving, as far as timescales from bid to disclosure of winner(s) is concerned.

Always expect the unexpected, as the saying goes. We were expecting the FY 2021/2022 results to be " Red Dotted " and then an unexpected order pops up. Unexpected, as far as I am concerned, in the respect that I did not expect any orders this side of the Results.

But a very pleasant surprise. And shows that CyanConnode are " .... not resting on their laurels ..... " as another saying goes and are still up for developing new solutions and products, in developing markets.

Looking back at the post concerning the official launch of the RDSS scheme, by Prime Minister Modi, it will be interesting to see if/how quickly news filters through concerning contracts/projects/orders, in connection with the various Smart Meter projects.

As we both seem to agree, RF is the core of CyanConnode, as you would expect. And as I confirmed in my post at 10:52 today, about CyanConnode's percentage of installations " The percentage may drop on occassions, but as long as CyanConnode have a reasonable average, that is fine."

Just like company installation figures can sometimes go up, or sometimes they can go down.

But some of these tenders that are coming through, I might suggest, could be very fluid. They may be a new tender, or they may be an existing tender, that has gathered some momentum.

The new tenders will already take into account the advances in technology/different developments/different requirements/budgets, etc., of the utility concerned.

If it is an existing tender that is gaining some momentum, then the different advances in technology/different developments/different requirements/budgets, etc., may have to be given some consideration and accomodated, if the budget will allow.

Hense the " mini tenders " I mentioned earlier, in my post at 10:52 this morning.

But all in my opinion, of course.
