All the Uni of Nottingham has requested for their emergency appeal is £10million. Given that figure has been blown many times over since even January, I really think the Government should stump up a grant to support real UK businesses.

At least we can start to measure the strain(s) in the UK.

My personal view is that those on the front line need to have frequent tests. And if we every get a grip at a much lower plateau, then as clusters are sighted, more intensive testing through the track and trace mechanism would be helpful to try and locate all those affected.

Just reading some of Fauci's testimony in the USA - I've put some snippets below just above the link. I don't want to get my hopes up, so I'm looking for other feedback on whether it might help Scancell and Notts uni get the funding they need.

I thought I read over the weekend that they all vaccines are going to have what I would call regression analysis - eg to make sure that the initial assumptions still hold.

As for the advert, it didn't mention this - I assumed that it was because it would turn their "42" days into a much bigger number.

Picking up on C7s trading comment, I'm only taking baby steps into the concept of trading when I hit a profit point.

I know I need to be a bit smarter about buying at the lows and taking the profits at the highs.. I'm not sure I want to experiment with Scancell though. I have noticed that at least one FTSE share seems to yoyo. I'm not watching them all yet, but I might set up the data to do so offline.

The point about inflammation is important. Just wanted to build on it - as I understand it, COVID-19 causes a massive inflammation response in some people.

In a nutshell, because the virus mutates/adapts so quickly I think it is a good thing that "someone" is putting in controls to ensure that all prior assumptions are not invalidated.

I've upped my immuno support regime as a result - fresh squeezed lemon juice (drunk within 20 minutes of squeezing so that it is alkaline). For me it would be interesting to find out the correlation of ph levels to the virus infection rate, but I won't hope that they consider it a valid data point to collect.

I have have no doubt that scientists will be studying everything which might possibly make a difference.

I think I've also read that, in general, BAME tend to have more contact with others and have less space.

Vitamin D deficiencies have been noted a few times.

Also any skin tone who has had the TB jab (can't remember the initials) seem to have better outcomes. As someone else has mentioned, there will be decades of research into these types of things.

I'm taking 1/2 an aspirin every couple of days. I'm also making sure I drink at least 1.5 litres of water in addition to any other liquids and a bowl of soup most days.

It was a good prerecorded video. I expect numbers to rise again in 10-14 days, and I've read that ERs have been overrun with other types of accidents (assume the normal fare for the weekend).
