When using AI, I ask it to always used verified sources AND to provide links to them.

This doesn't avoid all conjecture, but it does avoid most meta (not the company) hallucinations. . .

I'm sure there must be some biotechnology research AI prompts being used by the stock analysis to find opportunities / promote those they want to grow and reap profits....

I believe both things are true, eg big pharma do keep an eye or two out for good fits AND that Scancell would be looking for partners.

Some bigger fish may think they can do anything Scancell do better, or may be unwilling to cannabalise their revenue base.

Could it be that investing in small UK firms for those outwith the UK is a more volatile, risky business than taking a punt on a US penny stock?

I can't see all the trades today, but it is apparent that there were a large number of sells. Let's hope it is not one of the large holders looking to sink the price yet again.

Long term holders believe the science is sound enough to keep a hand in, even with a few large shareholders who can (and have in the past) sunk the share price.

I'd also like to see our usual profit takers hold off for 6 mo ths or so, unless this is the absolute top. Imho opinion, Scancell is in need of a wider shareholder base. Tanking the sp provlce back to 11-15p just to buy back in could put off everyone who hasn't already lived through that pattern.

I guess im a medium term investor (2013), when I bought in at 30p and the focus was pancreatic cancer. Im still trust someone does something about that.

Scancellndoes not run on the hyped up news cycles or pie in the sky forward projections. We (private investors) are unfortunate that one or two large holders can tank the share price easily.

WE are fortunate that we have had time to tuck Scancell into ISAs and SIPPs, so that when they do fly, or indeed pay a divi in the future, it will be a profound gift.

If you are new hear, trust your gut and get out if the science is not satisfying.

How do you get the market to agree an exchange rate 5 or 6 weeks in advance without everyone going down for collusion.

Five weeks ago would you have predicted this week that Spain was on the out with the USA because they refused to let their land be used for a war in the middle East?

Strong $ means MORE divi £s for us. Currently UDS1 buys 75p

Strong £ means less divi in £... Eg the rate would be less rhan 75p for USD$1

My platform does not use the exchange rate today. They use the exchange rate when they receive the divis to pay out.

The only evaluation I could find was from Trinity Delta and that was last November's evaluation which put the share price at 37p per share.

Investors chronicle say they have two analysts evals, one at 31p, the other at 32p, so median at 3qp. It is not clear when those evals were made. I am surprised they did not include Trinity Deltas evaluation.

Surely the 50% success rate is not across the board for P3 eg unless all P 1 and 2 recruitment were for "easy wins"...

At the same time, I know many patients who would jump at the chance of 1 in 2 chance of success.....

I may be in the minority here, but I invested originally because of Scancell pancreatic cancer research. Alas my BiL passed a year ago.

Don't get me wrong, I do think Scancell have done worthy work,and it will be great when it finally gets to market so everyone can benefit. Considering over 10% of people in Florida get skin cancer, there is a sizeable, ready market looking for real cures. (Old stat, so if someone has the latest stats, please send.)

In the meantime, I'll hope our electricity does get cut again in the next winter storm to batter us.

I have use AI for several forms of research, and even knowing its limitations, I would like to query why a collaboration with BionTech appears to be off the table. If this is a rabbit hole, I apologise in advance for waking the ire of those who hate daft lassie questions.

Looks like there is a new ceiling. Or perhaps post the ex divi date they will be cheaper... unless they have paused.
