The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
WTF, thanks for letting us all know your Dad is home. I hope all is as well as could be.
You've made me glad I don't watch live TV.
I thought the Gov had signed up Biontech for cancer research - https://www.gov.uk/government/news/new-partnership-to-boost-research-into-vaccines-for-cancer
I was thinking of Part B of CT 1 which is was to be held in the UK
I'm not sure they have pulled out. We are just waiting foe the results of CT1 part A.
C7 good to see you about. I hope you are keeping as well as you can.
ATB, LL
Thank you RR. I thought it might be the end of CT1, Part A, but wasn't sure if Scancell still intended to recruit in the UK for CT1, Part B.
I'd volunteer.
KonA Darn autocorrect correct on the phone earlier.
Thanks for that update, very much appreciated.
I plan to be at the next AGM at last. I've decided I'm far too busy and bones getting too thin to work full time. Like many others, I need to get more active, stay well and enjoy the things which are meaningful. I'd like to be around for my state pension.
Kong, I missed that. I take it we await results or did my month long cough and splutter cause me to miss it?
*tested negative, but had new variant symptoms including eye infection...
I have no doubt catching covrid fir the first time over the summer made recover from this illness harder.
Still less than 10% of what I used to hold. Just chipping away at it.
Didn't want to wait even 2 weeks as I'm sure that "the new guy" will be wanting to make Scancell his crowning glory.
This was a great thing to wake up to this morning!
Just wondering if anyone has reviewed research of covid strains to other health issues. It appears some of the current strains are linked to hepatitis.
Which Clinical trials failed? I must have missed that news.
Good point. Feels like one of the current IIs is playing fast and loose again to depress the share price.
The question for me is whether to wait for the finish of the dump or catch the falling knife and hope it recovers just as quickly.
Pre print study
12% for vaccinated
25% for unvaccinated

There are some interesting conclusions ahead of this, and my lay person's view is that there is all to play for to develop a covid vaccine which provides at least broader protection (if not longer term efficacy as well)
And just to keep those intersted up with the weather in my neck of the woods: Had a bit of wind and a drop or two of rain last night - think the weathermen underestimated the wind speed judging from the state of things today. This morning, had skies so dark on the drive down to Helensburgh (vet emergency) it might as well have been dusk, followed by a few lashings of hailstones. And voila, long before noon the skies opened up and it looks like a summers day, though I'll be wearing gloves nonetheless.
Great spot!
I shall look for the link on Twitter to RT!
WF, like everyone else here, I hope you father's health improves. All the very best, LL
Now that sounds like a plan!
I see everyone is having fun trotting out the old favourites.
I'm hoping we are off for a long gallop. I'll pick up more share when I can.
I spoke with a radiographer this week who mentioned that with their new equipment, they are now able to see much more, and though they don't always know what what they see means, they can monitor, picture, and measure what they are tracking.
I am sure the NHS staff undertake the same type of diligence and attention to detail for CTs patients, though they may not provide their full view of what they think they are seeing as they might for others.
The spread is very narrow now.
Dors that mean we expect a big move shortly?
If I had rhe cash, I'd be investing, but I don't right now.
So if you all would not mind waiting until I reinvest for the ruse I'd be grateful.
I'm kind of glad the FOOL has not invested - can you imagine how the smug article would read?
