Chester/others, any idea of AGM date this year.
Close relative had initial diagnosis of Stage 4 pancreatic cancer several weeks ago, so I need to adjust travel plans as I intend to be at the AGM at long last.
Hope everyone has been well, and thanks for the excellent posts - I have no hope of catching up with them all, but of the ones I catch between other things, they have been excellent
All the best, LL
KM, IDK, Perhaps a US listing?
I think a lot of investment money has left the UK.
According to ONS, the RoW already owned over 56% of all LSE shares in 2020. UK Private Investors only accounted for 12% of all LSE shares. UK IIs account for the rest.
NotR, Ditto. The next divi has been announced at the same rate, so I may reinvest at current prices.
I think it would be great if DEC offered a Divi Reinvestment Plan.

Your platform may do this for all holders, ask them. I believe some platforms allow you to hold $, but others exchange.
I wrote to IG who told me the dividend is paid in £... I wasn't sure that the person responding to my query had all the details, so I'm going to assume that so.eone higher up organises this.
If you look on DEC's website, the instructions are clear. You still have some time to contact your platform.
I have not had time to scan through all the messages, but I will try to catch up next week when I get home.
I surmise that Scancells tech is working its wonders and hopefully the news journos won't let it wither on the vine this time. I am delighted that more will be able to benefit at some point.

Cleaner thanks for summarising the many posters' input who make this board great.
It makes the time I do have to check in here more precious. I definitely plan to be at this year's AGM so I hope to finally meet you all, unless you plan to come to Argyll between now and then.
All those dealing with health issues, I know there are a few, always know I send good wishes for the best outcome. Even these word sound trite to me, just know they are there.
BT, independently, I also picked up a few more.
I'm not intending to divest at any point soon.
Like others I'm trying to read carefully to understand how the hedging of operational risk and the "goodwill" a US listing affects the SP.

It looks like someone/multiple someones is/are trying to not move the Shareprice.
Divi announcement expected this week according to the FT.
All, Thanks for views. My son says that average div is 5% and shares / divis fall in line with that. We'll know soon enough
Krusty, My bad - I forgot to proofread it. At £1.25,
Blue Eyes, Are we near peak fear? IDK - My Personal View is that the UK has shock after shock (some manufactured) so I feel like we are frogs in boiling water and won't even spot the critical point.
Trek, Like you, I hope I've picked good timing. IDK why I didn't spot DEC a few years ago when I used to track these things more actively.
I feel DEC at least have a plan in place to address shocks and react, so that cost of mistakes is small and upside is large.

BP low at declaration date under 470
Current low: just under 490
Div is at 6.61p, up from 6.01p from that paid in March (source Dividend Max)
For the year about 24p divi on 490 = just under 4.9% yield.
How do you think DEC's share price will move once Divi is declared?
Excellent post. Absolutely agree that investor relations needs improvement - unless a sell out is already in play. At this point I'd be happy to exit at £2 and obviously ecstatic to have closer to £8/share or more.
As you, and perhaps others have pointed out, RM are only just under the level where they are required to make a takeover bid.
For me, this means that a straightforward fund raise is already off the table.
I've asked for views before. I'd love to hear them.
Indeed interesting!
If I was a lottery winner, putting £750k plus into DEC is a move I'd consider.
I'm glad I picked up as many as my small sums could afford before today.
I believe a divi announcement is due in the next week or so. I would not want to be out of DEC when it drops.
I think anything showing at above 16 are suspect as sells.
Two of mine are marked incorrectly.
I'm waiting for some monies due, so I would not mind the price staying where it is for a few months.
Does anyone now have a view on a fund raise next year pushing Red Mile into a position where they have to make a bid for the whole? Last time I asked it didn't seem like anyone else thought it wast a likely scenario. I would not want to be out of it should that come to pass.

What is P o G?
Just my 2pence.
I'd take the £1, but I'd be far happier with £2/share, even with my now tiny holding. I obviously feel Scancell's tech is worth far more, but I rather sell out to a firm who will get it to market more quickly that Scancell can do on their own.
These just popped up on my timeline - for those who want to RT them.

Sam see the website - investors I think - I posted the link a few weeks ago.
You just need to get your platform to notify them around the record date.

Agree Violin.
Regular tweeting on a M-F basis (eg daily) is essential imho, plus a LI post twice a month. These don't need to extraordinary, they need to keep building their reach in my humble view.
Discussion at brunch today moved from LiFe time ISAs to SIPPs to cancer vaccines (not led by me).
Lindy has a way of making the science understandable, and I had hoped they would get a Comms Manager to take that on, even on a part time basis.
All the best all, LL
Anyone know the current rules?
I thought that if there was insider knowledge, Directors could not trade.
Knowing the progress of a CT would fall into that category in my view, but I would consider a great nany things insider info which apparently are SOP in the UK.
Happy to learn I am wrong and no Director trading means something else entirely.
At least Vulpes is not undermining the share price by selling off huge chunks of shares.
