Understand the concern. Price gouging is common in parts of the globe. Not everyone has the NHS who will see to lower costs.
That said, I have seen repeated reports that at least one company will make vaccines available on a not for profit basis - that was Johnson & Johnson. Initially they promised to have one available by September. With mortality rates at nearly 3 times that of Spanish flu, it is a generous offer.
My view is that if Scancell can crack a decent licensing model, there will be many applications (possibly even the annual flu jab) which would benefit from their IP. That alone could sweep profits upwards.
This are just my thoughts idling buy as I watch the moon rise in an almost clear blue sky. Please do not base any investment decision upon them.
