I think there may be other benefits as well - virtually every autoimmune syndrome and inflammation you can name... and perhaps the cure for the common cold... LOL

Initially I recall lung scarring and a spike in ME/CFS was headlines. Later the blood thickening in adults which has caused some heart attacks and other organ failures. I've seen scattered references to child impacts a few times, so posting here.

As for standing – I thought about running in 2014 very hard, but the logistics involved with my family could not be overcome.

I went and grabbed Johnson’s Work Agenda from The Queen’s Speech – which came after Johnson knew about Covid19.

Brexit – obviously the technical discussions were well underway.
Immigration - perfect time to close the borders, right?
NHS – 50k nurses (but they still need to pay to become one)
Crime – Tougher sentences for those who commit violent and sexual offences and terrorism. [not sure why they need to be violent and sexual]

Domestic Abuse Bill – “legacy from May’s era” – was definitely needed in Lockdown

Workers and Renters Rights – think this went out the window – some key workers are being kicked out because they are a risk. Many staff have lost their accommodation with the closure of hotels, etc. No job, no grants either.

Climate and Environment – UK contribution to CC, legally binding targets.

Divorce – no-fault - this should be an easy one to push through. Post Lockdown, 88 Chinese couples filed for divorce – I would not hazard a guess here. I understand the "joke" that many men want lockdown to end so they can see their mistresses.

Boycotts on public institutions having a view on boycotts and sanctions

Spying – registration of foreign agents [not quite sure how that would work]

Understand why they have not mentioned an essential PPE difference between the UK and the EU...

To me the most important words in that article... "do not have teams to manage their media appearances and support them."

The Government appears to care more about managing sound bites than actually getting on with any real work. Counting a Pair of Gloves as TWO PPE just so they could inflate the numbers. Sending out letters from the Government on Conservative Party headed paper - surely a breach of GDPR. They will continue their gaslighting to distract from the end June deadline.

I thought Carnival's main focus was cruise ship holidays, with many of the core buyers in the age groups with the highest number of excess deaths (almost three times the expected rate in the uk)...
