RR, I agree with C7, that Vulpes' position will untenable - in my case this is regardless of the outcome. To me, they have already shown bad faith by selling so they could gain more shares at a cheaper price.

I don't know if the CLNs can have their term extended (other companies have issued perpetual loan notes at higher interest rates than the ones offered this round).

One of my most likely scenarios is that the next move on failure this time is that Redmile will convert their existing opportunities, thus getting the next raising through.

Other scenarios take account that if they felt like moving the market they could then sink the price and gobble up those who sell the dip.

FalseDawn: I do not agree that the CEO should resign, and I believe that ALL the other Board Members were happy with the deal. So Should the whole board resign?

BJ - I thought something similar. Either bring out a white knight, or increase holdings in the open market/bid.

I reckon if Vulpes were to sell out in the market to stymie the rise, there would be a ready market to gobble them up.

Perhaps it's time to lobby other institutions to get on board.

Mia, it is not counted at all. I think the % referred to (eg 75%) are the % of the votes submitted.

Apologies for doing this here and now. I'm trying to find out the proxy voting mechanisms on different platforms.

I don't have time to move platforms before the deadline, but I don't want to miss another vote. Here are the options I gleaned earlier:

1. Proxy voting online through the platform
2. Proxy voting through the platform chat function
3. Proxy voting by email
4. Proxy voting submission by postal mail only

For 3 & 4: Also useful to know if your platform provides a) forms and b) the relevant information to fill in the forms.

I was particularly impressed with Holloway's description of the forthcoming CTs being done in parallel.

Having the cash in the bank now to fund that will be a lot less expensive than raising it in the future.

I've played out the scenarios about what happens if.... Because regardless of management's intent, market forces will be what they are. Looking at the potential weaknesses from both versions of the balance sheet may help your decision making.

I'm about to find out out the process for IG to submit proxy votes. In this, the smaller holders voting is as important as the big institutional holders.

Frankly right now, I'm more concerned about having the resolution blocked than the 2 year CLN. I think it is far better to get the capital now rather than trying to raise it in the UK in the next 2 years.

C7, as someone else has pointed out, proxy voting usually needs to go through your platform.

The AGM links says:
"As explained under the heading “IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING COVID-19 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING ARRANGEMENTS”
above, Shareholders should appoint the ‘Chairman of the meeting’ as their proxy. "

para 5: "n. If no voting indication is given, your proxy will vote or abstain from voting at his or her discretion. Your proxy will
vote (or abstain from voting) as he or she thinks fit in relation to any other matter which is put before the Annual General
Meeting."

CREST holders : In order for a proxy appointment made by means of CREST to be valid, the appropriate CREST message (a “CREST Proxy Instruction”) must be properly authenticated in accordance with Euroclear UK & Ireland Limited’s (EUI) specifications and must contain the information required for such instructions, as described in the CREST Manual. The message must be transmitted so as to be received by the issuer's agent, SLC Registrars (ID 7RA01), not later than 2:00pm. on 13 November 2020.

We have a little bit of time to get that sorted.

Absolutely agree with this. The portfolio investment was not until it was already reported that their front runner was not getting the efficacy they desired. Too much concentration (eg funding) on a crony investment and not enough emphasis on a real portfolio.

When Scancell received their paltry amount, a project from Cambridge received 5 times as much. Surely the powers that be now know the sums it takes to run CTs, invest in the right equipment, etc, as well as having the best scientific minds to evaluate each project and fund all on an equal basis.
