I was heartened to see a meme for the covid19 deniers / anti maskers suggesting they volunteer for clean up duty / removal of those who had passed. That may stop 1/2 the riots fairly quickly.

Knowing what we do now, perhaps it is time to rethink how work gets done (for those late to this party). Even if all the DNA/RNA projects adopted the agile processes others have deployed and even if they are granted emergency approval, without additional Government focus and funding, I reckon it will be late Q3 before most will be available.

I hate to rain on expectations.

My platform is still showing the cash available. I'm assuming yours are more on the ball.

Last time, all the money was taken and I received about 21% of the excess - the platform was the last to award the allocation. If the other platforms do the same, it will be about about a week AFTER the allocations that you get the excess funds back.

I assume we are on the same platform. LOL

I didn't expect another placing so soon, so I bought in the market to hit my short term goal.

I'm not expecting this one to be AS over subscribed, so I asked for fewer extras and hope to receive a higher %.

Imperial study is non-peer reviewed. However I think it points to both an after market for long covid therapies, and as others have alluded to, more interest developing for effective and longer lasting vaccines.

I've pretty much stopped watching the news for scientific insights.

I believe I posted quite early on this year that pharmas would love to monetize a jab which was needed on a regular basis. J&J have offered theirs on a not for profit basis (CT currently on hold I think).

My concern has been that it will mean multiple shots a year, and a read out of latest status within 2 days of travel (as some have to do currently to prove a negative result.

C7, thanks for the quick response. Those are good questions.

In 2019, there were over 703 million people aged 65 plus in the world. I'm not sure where that number is now, but that is still quite a base market to service. Add to that all the people who don't want to get it, and it's much a much larger % of the world population.

C7, Is that data from one of the trials? I know that rat's immunity was limited, but I've not seen any results from the human CTs.

Obviously keen that for those with compromised immune systems and those older (where it has been shown that anitbodies reduce faster post covid 19), that we have a longer term vaccine available.

The important points for me:
- The fall was greater in those over 65, compared with younger age groups, and in those without symptoms compared with those with full-blown Covid-19.
- Exactly what the antibody drop means for immunity is still uncertain. There are other parts of the immune system, such as T-cells, which may also play a role, directly killing infected host cells and calling to other immune cells to help out.

It will be really interesting to hear the data when one of the RNA/DAN CTs get published.

Shareguard, CLNs also need to converted before a takeover (more likely outcome at this point considering the cash in the bank).

My cash is still sitting in the account, but I did get an email yesterday outlining the number of shares they would apply for.

These are good points. I think the more that long Covid conditions become better known, and the realisation that this is new normal without a vaccine, more will accept it for the common good.

Very interesting, I've often heard that many cancer patients are killed by autoimmune diseases (and likewise some drugs used to treat one autoimmune disease also work in others because these conditions all share that overactive immune system).

That list of references is quite impressive - lots of reading to do. I particularly like references 1-5 - I haven't managed to scan down further.

Caution: when I do my regular search for Scancell, quite a few websites now include "Scancell" on their pages (along with 6-12 other biotechs), so I don't know if this is one of those cases or not. Also Calculus posted an update to their page mentioning Scancell yesterday...

I do indeed live relatively near Loch Fyne Oysters - between there and Arrochar. I first ate there over 35 years ago.

During lockdown they were delivering to most of the communities with a very wide range of fresh veg, meat and seafood options, as well as other sundries. They will always get my business if I can persuade those I'm with to venture out.

I've just taken a few phots of a huge rainbow over the loch - - cold frame is as done as I'm willing to do without my son's electric screwdriver. I'm hoping it stays fine this weekend so I can plant out everything. We have two red squirrels about right now, so I'll need to keep an eye on it.

I got a bit concerned yesterday as I heard some strange sounds. I walked around the back and spotted mussel shells. Evidently the gulls have had to go further away from shore. Must get on with setting up a cold frame and planting the bulbs at least.

I thought I posted earlier to say thank you for posting that. I think an 80% buy is still in the right ball park of opinions I'd review because the medium and long term indicators are 100%.

I've been distracted by the gorgeous weather we are having. Time enough to make the most of it!
