Stakis, I'm not sure if you missed my post earlier. Besides the delays and lack of donations due to covid19, I'm not sure whether all of Scancell's product line meet the CRUK criteria for funding. To me, it could possibly mean many different things, from Scancell wanting to move faster than waiting for UK Government funding to be made available, to the cost of hiring staff. Perhaps a question for the AGM.

Indeed! I was disappointed to get so few of the additional OO shares I requested. However, I've managed to pick up a few in the market, so if I can get my platform to participate in this, OO, I'll hit my goal.

Unfortunately I won't be able to move them into my ISA, so I have a big favour to ask: Could we hold off on the possible share price rocket until after next 6 April so I can move £20k more into the ISA?

C7, good to see you on the board and chipper this morning. The fog is down to the sea again here, which sets off the lit autumn colours in what I can see. Think it must be half term as there are more kids than usual on a Monday morning (unless their parents have discovered the joys of mobile broadband and working from home takes on a whole new dimension).

Some interesting points in your note. I just wanted to add that CRUK are doing a lot of different kinds of research, and I'm not sure that all of Scancell's work would qualify with their current objectives. I think at least one would (melanoma), but the field for immuno therapy players is huge and it wasn't even mentioned on the page I was scanning (mind you, the website could be years out of date).

Like everyone else, CRUK have been hit by Covid19 delays to research, as well as reduced donations, particularly since long term covid conditions are starting to get in focus (last time I looked, the BHF had 6 covid/heart research projects).

I'm not sure if you are asking if BP pay dividends (yes), or whether you want them to give you shares instead of the dividend.

If it is the latter, you could be better served by selling just ahead to the XD, and then buying the dip - that should gain you far more shares than buying with the dividend alone on the day before the XD.

Ivy, thank you for this. I think the Doctors in the covid group I'm in will be very interested. One of their key interest points is early determination of which patients will develop what they term "cytokine release syndrome" in this paper.

C7, good to hear you are in fine company there. By all accounts, the surgery did what was needed so you can enjoy more going forward. I had hoped you'd be going home later today - that might have been my wishful thinking. Dad used to take in cds with John Williams and Julian Bream when he had to endure procedures and recoveries. That genre may not be to your liking, but I'm sure there are plenty of Youtube options to explore. ATB.

RR, actually I'm grateful for you highlighting it. I had the August presentation bookmarked, but stumbled across the "deep dive" at least a week ago. It's a pity because there is also a great CH video on that page too.

RR I know that India and South Africa have asked to have covid IP made freely available for manufacture everywhere - I posted that a few days ago.

My thoughts re Moderna including a) knowing theirs was not as effective as they hoped, b) wanting to be the dominant player (with 42 to many more already in clinical trials - WHO's list says 42, but I'm sure I saw a much larger number), to c) it doesn't matter to Scancell who will have at least 350M people clamouring for a vaccine which doesn't make them quite ill and only meets the FDA 50% efficacy threshold.

C7, if you are reading this, you are definitely on the mend and have too much time on your hands. As someone said, Friday seems to be the traditional day for a Scancell RNS.

This time next week may be very different with the final results expected to be announced by next Friday.

Any views on Moderna saying they won't enforce coronavirus vaccine patents during pandemic?

AB, I noticed trades over the weekend which had been delayed to the end of the day as well (about 500k). It is confusing when the share prices moves so far during the day, but I've noticed lately that there have been more of these.
