CTs take time. Deals can't be announced until they can be announced. If you follow the smart money, you know the odds are ever in your favour. This share isn't going to Fudded down to pre-placing prices, even though I'm sure more than a few would like to do so.

Buy the dips when you can and enjoy the journey.

Bunsie, Thanks for that. Does it say a) when the 2nd shot was given (as I think they look for 2 - 3 months for side effects) and b) how many had ANY side effects?

I know someone in the trial and he's a very healthy person. It will be useful to see what the overall results are when they are published.

I think I flew in a smaller one four times a week for about 9 months. It only had one seat towards the front of the cabin.

This is why I've always targeted three days for the immune system reset. I've usually found that after 18 hours minimum and 36 hours maximum I no longer felt "hungry". It think it helps if you don't eat high glycaemic foods before starting. Right now I'm finding I'm full on between 450-700 calories a day (using a small window for eating). I'm still off the caffeine.

I was doing some research during the fast which indicated that for fat burning, that it needed to be a longer time period. I gained about 2 stone since lock down here and I'm struggling to lose it. I definitely want to lose that before EoY holidays. So I will continue to be sensible about calorie intake. I've also up the yoga/tai chi/walking and I'm about to sort out my winter flowers/spring bulbs/weed out the rock wall behind the lodge.

Bunsie, I just saw your post. I debated about going on to 5 days, but I have a couple of busy days this week. And visitors arriving next week.

Once you are past the first 36 hours, it gets much easier. Personally I don't recommend undertaking a lot of physical exercise, but I did use my under the desk exerciser quite a bit. I also "cheated" in that I had organic non-caffeine tea for the first day. I think it also helps if you have something to do besides watching tv. Just don't expect to have all the energy you would normally.

I plan to do another fast at some point in the next three months, I'm just sorting out the timing in the run up to the end of the year.

Thanks for that C7 - there are more there than my son mentioned so I was good to have an official point to hand. I try to give the caffeine a break too, though I know some have to have a shot.

I've also read that the important thing coming out of a fast is to limit calories to about 1/2 of your normal amount for a few days - I also mind the sugars too. Maybe not what you want to hear today, at our ages, I think you have to enjoy each day which find us alive!

I've came off a 3 day fast yesterday. My son initially introduced me to the concept several years ago. I recognise that it's too short to burn off much if any fat, but it does give the digestive tract a rest. I'm on aniseed, fennel and cardamom tea today because even my decaff coffee has some caffeine in it.

As you say, it seems like a quiet Monday here, though my platform shows a higher price than the board (yes I know there is a delay) - and my other investments are up as well. For the stocks I watch, Monday has the highest positive change on average, so here's hoping today will continue in that vein.

Today is a "local" holiday, so it is a busier Monday than most where I am. I've been in shorts and tee shirts for the past few days and today to clouds have rolled in. I think I'm even seeing some of the leaves changing colour.

The Chair of the Science & Technology Committee (Ball?) recommended investing in a portfolio of vaccine projects, but that was after the bulk of the investment had been given to Oxford. Even the Innovate proportion gave a Much larger amount to a Cambridge vaccine. Personally, I'm not sure that the politicians have understood the problem yet.
