C7, We are nearing my first entry point on Scancell. Yes, I would have been better off buying up more with the 79% of my funds not taken up by the OO, so I'll hold for some time. My view is that 2 years will establish a new normal based on results of at least two CTs.

I noticed yesterday on the way south (by way of the north route) that the A82 was also shut by the Falls of Falloch. Interesting times on the way back near Ardlui watching juggernaut drivers finally conclude that one would need to reverse further back that the car behind had stopped. It look longer than 15 minutes to get the two cars ahead of me to realise why I had left so much space on a straight bit when stopping.

It is good to finally see some realism being reported about this - thanks for posting.

I assume everyone knows that the AZ/Oxford vaccine is the one Trump wanted to fast track ahead of the election, which is on hold globally. AstraZeneca joined eight other companies in signing a pledge promising they would not seek premature government approval for any coronavirus vaccine. AZ promised they would wait until they had adequate data showing any potential vaccine worked safely along with the other pharmas: BioNTech GlaxoSmithKline, Johnson & Johnson, Merck, Moderna, Novavax, Pfizer and Sanofi.

The numbers show that the Government has order 340 million doses, hedging bets - I'm not sure if they are expecting the doses to be manufactured in the UK or not.

I am usually happy. I was happy to tell my son to wait for up to two years to sell his shares earlier today. By then, it may be that he can see more clearly the potential.

Very happy to see that the melanoma SCIB1 UK trials are going ahead here. I have an Aunt who died from it just a few years ago. In some places, skin cancers affect almost 10% of the population, so I have no doubt that there will be a market for 100k+ new melanoma cases each year.

Inanco, You are correct. What I see may be very different from other's views. As you will note from another post, I still look forward to the time when pancreatic cancer survival rates are on par with other cancers rather than the meagre 5-8% rate (which is up in 2 years from 3-4%). And from yet another post, there is much work to do, and it is Scancell who must determine which paths they chose to take.

With so many investors to attract who would value a welcoming, safe place to learn to learn about Scancell, and debate issues, I will continue to search for other options to this site. The share price is now within striking distance of the current TD valuation, which is a point of joy.

Someone was querying mice to human trial differences. I think there is much more work needed to uncover the explanation for this one.

I've posted a the Nottingham post article yesterday in a response including them. I do try to have a look out for posts where I can interject that even if someone has taken a previous antibody generating vaccine, they can still take the 2nd Gen RNA/DNA based vaccines.

Hi Inanaco, I don't know if I'm resonating with what Ivy means, but here is what his words mean to me.

Scancell will grow, and change to suit market conditions and circumstances. My first contact with them was as the only company I could see tackling pancreatic cancer (5 year survival now up to 5-8% since the 3% in 2015). Their research has uncovered keys to helping survival rates for many other forms of cancer, as well as for a different one with no cure (melanoma). This will continue.

Do I judge Scancell today by whether they have found a treatment for pancreatic cancer? Personally, in part yes, but I doubt few others who only heard about the others would. I believe Scancell will continue to strive to find the keys to many health issues which is why I'm sticking around to enjoy the journey.
