Good morning, If I had ready cash, I'd be buying.

I've been thinking about the self isolating of all over 60s. That would put much of The Government in isolation - and of course meeting could take place by tech. Given the number of people that the Health Secretary and Treasury staff member who had been in contact, it might be a good thing to have everyone work from home where they can.

The fact that daily testing rates are dropping, not increasing is alarming. To me it means that many people who should be tested have not been. Clear instructions about making lists of places they had been / people they had been in contact with whilst they are waiting for testing could be undertaken. In the midst of a 40C temp is probably not the best time to try and understand instructions.

Queiry: Are we sure that those who survive COVID19 cannot become carriers or indeed get it again (or a mutated strain)?

Hasn't Boris been self isolating? He disappeared for weeks. I saw the dog has been reshuffled as well.

On a more serious note, I read yesterday that peak numbers will hit next winter. I doubt many countries will escape a financial hit.

When I was looking up whether those who have recovered can catch it again, it seems the web is divided. Some of the fortunate who recover test positive later for COVID19, though on source is blaming testing flaws.

Hey there, I've been chasing around for a few days, and only able to check in now and then. As you say, the weekend looks cold.

Dad was always nervous when the grandkids came to the house. Pneumonia got him in the end. As you say, for those of us of a certain age, cornavirus is a hazard. Good clean air, healthy food and something to ward off the germs won't do any harm. Have to admit, I grew to liking the single malt version he preferred to dole out to kill any tickle in the back of the throat. Pretty sure that's not recommended nowadays.

I did wonder how lower temps will affect those across the country still flooded. Hoping the snow resolves by Monday!
