SOB, do you mean Perth?, there is an update on the OGA website for Perth, they require reconfirmation of part of the design concept. No mention of any ongoing negotiations with CNOCC. Is the Scott platform is still the preferred route?

Just looked back at a post from SOB after he attended the 2018 AGM and he reported that Tom stated that the'assets on the west coast could be used to obtain deals' so presumably this may be why no final deal has been announced, and deals are still being negotiated??? So to me, this reads that TC wants to maintain equity in GPA at the expense of WoS

Interesting that RG is still reducing his holding given that things look positive for HZM.
He did reduce significantly prior to the Orion finance deal, and he will be flush with cash, as he was a significant holder of ELA which was taken over recently at a 30% premium. He is also a major holder in JOG which nearly trebled in value after he brought in last year. RG clearly has other ideas for his cash - wonder what they are???? i'll still hold my two bob's worth here till production/takeover.

I have reposted the info below, and from memory, you commented that the license was dropped, as per the AR.

on 29/03/18 Hansa Hydrocarbons was taken over by Discover Exploration. Hansa was the main operator of the Pharos gas field with a 46% stake and with PMG having 31% www.subseaiq.com/data/Project.aspx?project_id=1651. The HH website previously stated that an appraisal drill was to be undertaken this year, but a few days prior to the take over, any reference to Pharos was removed from the HH website, and no reference of Pharos is mentioned on the Discover Exploration website, but all previous HH assets are listed. So who is the main operator of this gas field? has a deal been done during the DE take over?

Shame this was taken out, but with the constant threat of the NDA and falling oil prices, maybe not such a bad outcome. Purchased shares here (and held) at 28p and then topped up in the 30's, 40's and 80's, so a decent payout awaits. Also, this has been one of the most respectful BB's I have visited with knowledgeable posters (without being arrogant) sharing good information in all situations, for novice shareholders like myself. And course thanks to George and all the ELA team for delivering what they promised, growth, dividends and performance.
As I am a novice investor, and without wishing to look greedy - are we still getting the dividend at the end of the month?

NH - With a falling SP and negative speculation surrounding the company, an platypus RNS would support the SP. With so much potential positive news on the horizon, the last 2 RNS's released have damaged Tom's credibility, as he seems more intent on upsetting current shareholders and putting off any potential shareholders wanting to invest in the company. The cost of an RNS pales to insignificance when compared to buying out JV partner licenses and just letting them expire, and so you have to wonder what his motives are issuing devisive RNS's, but choosing not to issue one that may impact the share in a more positive manner (platypus). Had he issued more detail on the last RNS detailing the number of windturbines, solar panels, projected income, etc, to give a positive spin, but instead there was not enough information to form a positive opinion, and as we all know, the markets only like good news, and nature of the transaction, leads one to question the motive of the decision.

Good spot ROB on the Platypus update - if it's taken this long to finalise the take off route for platypus, then maybe I can understand the delayed FID for GPA (now expected spring 2020), and we mustn't assume that no news translates to nothing happening. I just can't understand the logic of not issuing an RNS to boost the SP and the Shareholders morale -for most companies, this would be a "Flag waving RNS" - and PMG radio silence continues....

It now states (taken from TC) that the GPA FID will be in spring 2020 (no update on OGA website)
I had seen this date on the ADFVN board, but thought it may have been an error, maybe not!!!
Has anyone seen anything to clarify this date - with the SP under pressure - any further delay will not help the SP
I may buy more, but only if it dips into the 30's

Tom did previously state renewables were on the agenda, but as we were all focused on the GPA development, no-one gave the renewables much consideration - I would rather the money be spent on developing existing licenses. It is impossible to accurately judge this purchase now, only after 5 years or so assuming that the land gets developed - not sure who has the knowledge at PMG for this project - I'm just glad i never topped up on recent lows, this could dive this morning, may top up then - this changes nothing on the GPA, which is why we're all here.

Should PMG reapply for the License the next time it becomes available, would they get first refusal of it, should several other E&P's apply for it?

Great summary Robs12 - Do PMG still hold 100% of the Farne extension prospect? They purchased the remaining 50% from Verus back in august 2017 - with all the interest in the GPA development, this gas prospect often gets forgotten, as it is not shown on the updated PMG website - but is still listed in the assets in the 2018 AR

So at what point in the GPA process, would Tom have to issue an RNS to inform the market of a development- FID?

Although I didn't attend the AGM - one poster from this BB who attended asked JM about timeframe for financing - and the response was that No organisation (banks,etc) will consider funding until all the correct permits are in place - so does anyone know what permits are still required, before the process of funding can move forward? I would expect us to have several interested parties already - but the funds won't be forthcoming without ALL the required permits in place

Hi westie50 - I have only been investing for a couple of years, but have been lucky to drop on few decent shares (ELA was one) when I started investing. Mr Griffths has sold on a small spike in SP (correalated to the Nickel price), so either he has a better place for his money or bad news is coming (and he still could be the live seller clearing out!!!) - personally I believe the fundamentals of HZM is solid, and with inventory levels quickly reducing, the price should stabilise shortly, and when funding is sorted, this should take off - the current SP volatility for an AIM miner with no income is to be expected till funding is sorted - anything below 2p and I'll add more

new poster here, but I have been investing in HZM over the last 15 months and so I am between 30% down - but not worried. I noticed when Mr Griffths first started to reduce his holding last year (when the share price was about 4.5p), he was at the same time increasing his holding in ELA (which is up about 25%) - also back in April he invested several million pounds in JOG at about 60p - yesterday JOG rose by 150% (i put it on my watchlist but never invested- Grrr!!), any Mr Griffths is also a major share holder in SNG (which now also on my watchlist- but it's a pharma stock- which I don't like investing in) - clearly in the meantime, Mr Griffiths has a better place for his money than HZM and is obviously well connected and one to follow!!!!

Also, does anyone know why the endeavour services, that HZM have appointed to secure the funding/partners does not have HZM listed on the their website - they have a lot of companies listed, but not HZM - just wondering???

the last months SP rise tracked the nickel price on the LME - which people seem to think it's the chinese buying nickel whilst it's cheap - it will be interesting to see what the latest nickel inventory is - it was steadily reducing even when nickel was $12k/ton

Although PMG were not awarded a License, the JOG RNS does mention the potential to create a new major hub area in the GBA - would this tie in the GPA hub Tom is building?

Thanks for the confirmation Mary, also, presumably on the basis of the JOG RNS, the SP has doubled!!!! I don't hold any JOG shares but had them on my watchlist, but still hopefully PMG will get something from this licensing round and we'll see a boost in SP as well!!!

Have the additional round for the Buchan area licenses been awarded yet? I see on the JOG board, there is an RNS confirming that they been awarded further licenses.

Does anyone know if we have approval from the OGA for the FEED?
We keep seeing key dates, but are they being achieved?
Does the OGA post this information on their website? or do we need an RNS from Tom to confirm this?
I've no doubt that the project will be delivered eventually - but any evidence of key dates being met would be useful.
The general feeling is everything will become clearer after the supplementary Greater Buchan licensing awards are announced in Q3/4 this year - but would these awards affect/delay the Perth FEED approval?

apologies for the questions, but seeing dates come and go with no RNS is frustrating - I know these projects always overrun scheduled completion dates, but if we don't have OGA feed approval, surely every other key date will be missed as well.

I'm sure some knowledge person on this BB will be able to clarify
