new well/old well29 May 2020 21:25
new poster here, but LTH (since 13p and topped up at 29p), I have held HUR for several years now and followed this BB through the exploration drilling, dilution, corporate governance, issues and with ropes, water, etc and now missed production targets!!! with regard to the debate on reworking the problem well or drilling well 8, i have reread the operational RNS dated 27th April, and towards the end of the RNS (after all the positive headlines) under Lancaster EPS, the RNS contains the following comment - whilst the wells show high performance individually, their proximity, and associated interference behaviour, requires further data acquisition before the Company can be confident about optimum long-term well rates.
whilst the wells show high performance individually, their proximity, and associated interference behaviour, requires further data acquisition before the Company can be confident about optimum long-term well rates.
so i am assuming that they have tried to sort the issue for 3 weeks without any success, hence the RNS last friday. Surely there is more value in drilling a new well, than wasting precious time/money reworking the existing one!!!
sadly, it will be years till we see any kind of value/worth for HUR until the resource volume is proved to be commercially viable, as this is still a development project in its early stages.
apologies if this information from the RNS dated 27th has already been circulated, but I've not read every post since the SP tanked.
