The last annual report stated that Returning money to shareholders would be a priority in 2022, above new aquistions.
The current dividend is too low in comparision to other top commodities metal miners such as Rio, BHP, so the divi should be raised/comparable with these miners to attract income investors.
Don't forget, BHP shareholder vote on 20th Jan on delisting form the London market and have a sole listing in Sydney. The board have approved this move, but shareholders have their say on the 20th. Should BHP delist, I would expect some money from such FT100 commodities funds to move to GLEN/RIO/ANTO, and so expect the SP to move to up if BHP delist....well that's my thinking.....after a few months trading between £3.50 and £3.80, we just need some upwards momentum to move it to the next level
