I communicated with Harl today and the Austal ferry plan is proceeding. I did not ask if the ferry was sailing , flying or being transported on the Starship Enterprise.

With regards to a lot of suspicion regarding Harls intentions, can you substantiate that claim. Please provide a source.

However, if any material change in contract value it will have to be RNS'd unless under a NDA.

Yeah got it thx. It was certainly portrayed on here as being on its last legs. Then the journey from Auz was discussed and I thought I'd take a look. Doesn't appear to be any issues to me.

Was having a look at the life span of 20 years for a aluminium vessel. It has been posted on here several times about a 20 year life expectancy.

Is the ex Westpac Express built by Austal in 2001 as a passenger & vehicle vessel, then used by US Marines until 2018 aluminium? It was renamed the Dublin Swift and the conversion was carried out by Harland and Wolff . Also subsequent dry dockings. That crossing twice a day is not calm seas. From the history, 23 years active service, it doesn't appear 20 years is any sort of definitive deadline.

I was looking at distributors in general a few days ago and saw what you are highlighting. I too think numerous new products. I was trying to do a tick back but between being stuck in another county ( snow and ice ) now in a hotel , no electricity or water ( storm ) I have failed miserably.

Lieutenant Commander Matthew Teare, Commanding Officer of HMS Chiddingfold, might be shedding a tear (e) tonight. Watching that vid it's difficult to comprehend what the hell the person steering the ship was attempting to do. The two vessels have just had an extended period of intensive training with the Qatar Navy. I'm sure that wasn't one of the manoeuvres they've practiced. How embarrassing 😳

Wind here horrendous already , be suprised if anything leaves drydock in next 48 hours , hope that cruise ship is very well secured, if Belfast conditions are remotely similar to here. Just played catch the bins and it is only starting.

I would hope next to something. Surely that is something we are capable of doing in-house ?
