Until they know scope of work , how can they update us. It appears to be a total change of plan. Italy was earmarked for refurb and now she's in Belfast for an extended stay. If H&W are going to be actively working on the vessel,

Si, on one of the commentary exchanges on LinkedIn, a poster has stated that the SeaRose will be going into the East dock. This was in response to questions raised re MAS and Drydocking.

I think what he meant to say Mary was that it was odd that these out of date contracts keep appearing, dated same day. At least there was no ROTFL ... yet.

So we now know according to the Captain of Mas, that the vessel will enter dry dock at Belfast, supposedly March.

We know the vendor supporting redesign of corridors , staterooms and know we have numerous containers in situ with more to arrive. One post indicates a film will be shot , perhaps recording the upgrade for promotion purposes, perhaps Titantic 2 or maybe a red herring.

We remain clueless what role we will play between now and end of May. Even quoting for a respray won't happen overnight, never mind scoping out anything else. It's a wait and see what unfolds scenario.

As I think Xenor said, at a minimum we will be paid for use of our facilities and dry docking expertise. Until we get a red dot or a super sleuth makes a discovery that's it.

Hoping for azure skies Si. Just posting what I find. Tbh I thought those containers might contain generators for shore power, thought maybe they needed to be protected from the elements. Not knowledgeable about such stuff. Only experience of a generator was one that got wet and the kids bouncy castle deflated( birthday party) so we all trooped off to Sandown to toboggan / ringo ride on the ski slope.

@Stokey12 , as previously stated I think it's a fluid situation and scope of work being firmed up. I think you'll agree as soon as JW has bragging rights, he'll be fast off the starting blocks with a RNS ;)

According to this article the SeaRose has not yet set off for Belfast. The article doesn't give a precise date but states leaving this month.

Chrisatdg , the comment made by Francisco, is liked by a lady called Ria . If you look her up on linked in and scroll to projects , then you will find she is working on suites , corridors and staterooms. The lady in question is the owner of the company completing stated works.

It would appear multiple parties involved , exactly what one would expect for such a large project and such a short time frame. As she has just arrived and obviously a change of plans , it is a waiting game for clarity to understand what role H& W will undertake ... maybe large , maybe small.

As ever time will tell.
