It's a huge beast , would H&W , MJM , other contractors have flown out to Italy to quote for works or is that happening onsite in Belfast. I agree that operational sounds PM based. I would be more than suprised though if Harls dry docks were used to blast and spray the beastie.

SI_D , yes I've seen quite a few missives written by Lord Berkeley and he is obviously very pro Isles of Scilly and indeed why not.

Regarding the message you posted at 19.47 , I am not clear on what is being suggested. If no LUF is required it must be proposing a commercial loan and probably running with a similar suggestion to Tony Berkeley's , indeed may well be connected.

The staff are for current operations I believe and the appt of a NED does nothing to assist in determining if the contract will be signed imo. I am merely stating the obvious.

That's the court of appeal, next month and NGC still appealing for funds. They had a fundraising event on Brown's beach this weekend. It will go ahead regardless as FOE not short of pennies.
