RE: Plan B starts to emerge27 May 2024 18:57
I don't think any plan B is starting to emerge , sounds like a load of nonsense to me.
In response to the latest telegraph article,
I do not believe that JW wrote to employers informing them that they needed to avail of taxpayers money. The reason I do not believe he did this is simple , they are not availing of tax payers money. They have applied for a guaranteed loan from a consortium of UK banks , against that loan everything will have a charge against it. In the event that H&W after receipt of the loan, at some future date , went into administration, then and only then , would any shortfall be made by the govt.
Furthermore , I do not believe JW or any mgr anywhere in Harl , singled out Scottish yards with talk of having to close. It is 100 % diametrically opposed to the way JW operates , he would be totally aware that by doing such a thing that he ran the risk of losing key staff at a critical time . We have also been told that Methil would be involved in the new Falklands contract , as would Arnish , in addition to the 5 year contract they won in March.
Simply another load of B/S.
Many ways to peel an orange , ring-fence monies , change amt guaranteed and revert back to 80%
like every other approved loan , revert to plan B and seek finance elsewhere , jettison pursuit of Scilly if it risks core business.
The levels some stoop to is beyond disgusting.
