Basically Navantia in a day of mourning out of respect for the sudden passing of Jose Antonio Roderigues Poch. He spent most of his professional career with Navantia and was responsible for shipbuilding in the bay of Cadiz.

Currently responsible for BAM -IS program for Spanish Navy , patrol boat for Morocco and the FSS program for logistics ships for the UK.

The company is shocked and saddened , a huge loss , heaps praise on the gentleman, offers condolences to the family. He was in his fifties.

I have absolutely no idea and do not know how to tell if a post on linkedin has been removed by the account holder or the administrator . I have never written a post on linkedin in, I make comments and use for research.

However would you elect to book your drydocking , sign off on contracts etc with all this uncertainty in the media re future survival of the company. I suspect like somewhere else we know about, that they have an NDA in place and cannot comment to anyone in any detail the exact status of the ongoing conversations. Bottom line they care because the whole future of the company is headline news against them trying to conduct BAU. Just imo.
