I smell desperation when a poster resorts to trawling Facebook for an hour to proffer posts from supposed yard workers. Anyone can post any drivel they want on there , same as here. Pure speculation about margins. Pure speculation about 'window dressing ' Invented fairytales about constant fires. Work would be halted immediately if that was the case.

There are numerous Cenovus staff onsite in Belfast and if there were any concerns whatsoever there would be NO increase in scope of work.

The thought of increased revenue obviously iratated our resident minister of gloom doom and despondency. It really is quite pathetic when a genuine post regarding 1400 fatigue repair is responded to with I've found facebook posts that sat lots of fires , there are few Harl staff working on it , the margins are small blah blah .

I believe it is only a matter of time before we hear news on the SeaRose and substantially increased numbers.

An appeal can be lodged up to 28 days after judgement is handed down. An application to appeal has to be granted , anyone can ask but it can be refused if determined no chance of success for example.

Harchris , purely speculation... but could be inclusion of the missing report & claimant has raised an objection because it introduces something new, that they claim no time to prepare defence for. As I said guessing and not based on any facts I am in possession of.

Anyway GLA today if it is anything of any substance , we've all been very patient here. We are finally at the stage when we will learn hopefully the truth, instead of staring at heavily redacted contracts and being battered by shorters/ derampers and every Tom , Dick & Harry.

Just reiterating as he said a year ago, other options. He can't discuss the exact state of play of the UKEF deal and the Telegraph article didn't make sense.

Well that's no different to any other UKEF guarentee , so I can't envisage an issue with that as the gov were prepared to offer 100 % initially.

Again the Telegraph err as they talk of a 200m loan and JW says 80% on the table , do the Telegraph not comprehend that an 80 % guarantee means 160mm guaranteed. Its all a load of cobbled together nonsense again.

Quite frankly why the interviews were given is beyond my comprehension, unless JW wanted to inform about the current change in negotiations 100 % to 80 and reiterate Scottish yards not at risk. Another day , another dollar !

I think @ Stokey12 was simply saying nothing to indicate Harl had any involvement in this.

I hope its a peach & not a lemon Si D as many will have invested their life savings to sail the world. Could be a very minor issue and the delay is in sourcing and awaiting delivery of the required parts. The larger issue obviously being what potentially could have happened if not detected , why it wasn't earlier and the cost implications.
