I did much the same, keeping some but selling the majority. Started buying again when it seemed to be oversold at 4 ish.
Just been out to the shops and came back to see a sharp tick up. I must try the same strategy again on Monday.

Hoping the same. I think for me this is more of a marriage than an investment. I spend most the time regretting the commitment but we are very close really. Or maybe we cant afford to part company.

Please Dr.S, MDV, can we have an RNS next week regarding Tavsan and Venus IPO?
In the April presentation it is stated that the Tavsan operations will commence early 2023. Wonder what that means? Production? Plant construction? We are in May 2022. Incidentally the presentation December 2021 stated production (ie a different word to operations) at Tavsan would commence in early 2023. This December 2021 presentation doesn't seem to be on the Ariana website anymore, but I have a copy saved.
A March RNS said that Venus is progressing towards an IPO in Q2 2022. Again, halfway through Q2 2022 there is no mention, time is running out in this one too.
I would call on the BoD to be a little more conservative (I wont use the word honest) in the few communications that we private investors (many of us of long standing) receive.

Have bought another, taller, chest of drawers today. Did that to give myself an even lower bottom drawer to keep these in.

We need news. We need a firm timetable. Just read the latest presentation that somehow passed me by, I found it disappointing - smug, self satisfied and very carefully worded. How can the BOD claim that this is a dividend paying company when we know that the dividends announced to date, and soon to cease, relate to a specific part disposal with no published intention to continue into an uninterrupted dividend stream?

Hi Foz. Ariana Resources is making me tear my hair out at the moment as well. Luckily there, due to trading over many years, I am in at precisely zero pence but still frustrating. Pretty much everything of mine seems pants with the exception of the likes of BP and Utilities - and usually for no obvious reason.

With a share like this you have to grow a thick skin, and provided you believe in the future of the company just stick them in the bottom drawer. The main thing that worries me about this SP drop is the dilution if funds are raised through equity, as at the moment a further placing couldn't currently be done at anything like the 15p (?) achieved just a few months ago at the end of 2021.

How long does the Venus IPO take exactly? Its not even mentioned anymore.
The one thing I do believe is the end of Kiziltepe production after 2025, but does anyone who isn't an inmate of a secure institution believe that will be seamlessly replaced by Salinbas production? Call me a cynic but.....

Hopefully. I bought some around 360p from memory, watched it fly to the mid 400s, felt a bit smug to be honest. Not feeling so smug now! At least there's no bad news (that we know of), just sentiment and the wider market.

Thanks DJ, one wet day but otherwise good. When its nice in Scotland its incomparable. Good food, mediocre beer, very hard cycling. Shame I don't like whisky, love the smell dislike drinking it!

Indeed. Without the bid I wonder what the BCN SP would be now. I have lost a bit on ZNWD at the moment but, as you say, dodged a bullet. Trouble with ZNWD I don't get a feel for a timeline for development. Last interview I saw talked vaguely about 'aiming' for production when Lithium demand started getting serious. No promises, just hopes.

Could BP threaten to change its tax residency if constantly threatened with Windfall taxes by successive governments? If so surely that would be enough to scare away the threat?
