Hi Van. Not surprisingly I have much the same thoughts. I too wondered why we need a deputy position, maybe its a sop to him, maybe it will be only temporary as emcauslan suggests. An AI query suggests he will still be a board member as deputy chair, which may be significant for us to see if his shareholding changes as I'm not sure that his shareholding, though large, is declarable? Not 100% sure.
My point is that like him or not he knows the company and its immediate prospects better than we do. If he starts to dispose of shares, especially at this depressed level, it would be very worrying to me.
Personally I wouldn't mind if Sener stood down as well. Many, me included , don't think he has grown into the position of CEO, it's as a geologist he seems to have impressed most. And there are other fine geologists in the world - well you didn't expect me not to be contentious!
To sum up something is obviously happening with Ariana. Not sure what, or the time scale (hopefully short).
