I think we could talk about this for hours (and knowing this board probably will!) but I suspect that it might be easier to wait for an accurate interpretation which will be given (relatively) shortly in at the CMD rather than second guess from incomplete data.

We have the 6 well with negligible water and 7z well which is a bit damp.
Not trying to be negative (think you know me better than that) but if the 17% is a result of an amalgamation of production from both wells then you cant necessarily draw the conclusion that you are. Happy to be corrected on this.

That's deep SG. But fundamentally I agree. Most will remember CGT reliefs that were based upon type of equity (AIM was classed as business assets and allowed greater relief) and time held. That encouraged investment rather than simply trading.
My earlier point was essentially that we all have our eyes open here. The system is always going to smell a bit wiffy, and so if we chose to participate we have to accept it - there are to many powerful people making too much money for it to ever change. The amounts being made are sufficient to encourage the professionals to risk censure, so it wont stop

Agree with these words but......at the end of the day we are all (I assume) seasoned investors (gamblers) and we know how sharp and quick the professionals and their systems are, how lacking in sympathy they are. And it has been that way for all time. Yet we continue. Why? Because we are also greedy and find the market (hopefully) more remunerative and interesting than trotting down to the Nationwide.
I am stung pretty much as badly as anyone else here, I have seen figures of other peeps holdings here and I am usually thinking 'is that all'. But I have myself to blame, so as much as I can at my age I will attempt to grow a (bigger) pair.

If there is nefarious activity by devious people then I have to sneakily admire them. They are doing it very well indeed. PIs, or at least a significant amount of them, now feel sufficiently shell shocked that they would seriously consider a bid of 40p - compare that to Shareholders expectations a couple of months back when we would have told them to shove such a bid up their a*se.

I've not been to Yorkshire much though I did the Yorkshire 3 peaks a few years back and went cycling for a long weekend round Hebden last year (Hebden rather than Hebden Bridge). Lovely area, lovely people
