I agree with much of what you say Van, and it was very nice meeting you last year. Unless you are concealing an ominous dark side you seem a good bloke!
This remains a good investment, anyone currently without exposure to AAU would do well to research the company with a view to putting a few quid in. I remain invested, and will continue to do so, but just with a significant trim and frankly reduced day to day interest. For instance I would be looking out for the imminent RR production results normally, but with only 23.5% interest there going forward I'm now not particularly concerned. Ignoring my other gripes, I see a determined swing from an approach that was half production half exploration to a very much exploration based company, which is not what I want. I can see that strategic direction must be driven by Board members, partially at least in their own interests. AAU will have a good few bob on its balance sheet, which I don't think will be distributed to S/Hs by way of regular dividends, and they will go out into Salinbas and Cyprus with rock chip hammers to hopefully produce further commercialisation maybe 5 years down the line. I'm not after endless exploration, at least not when overinvested in a tiny AIM company. Just the way I am!
