This is how Maersk were trying to keep tabs on MSAR. It wasn't approved luckily. Also later found to be a totally unnecessary delivery system. If they were not going to adopt it, they would make it difficult for anyone else

On 23rd March 2017 a Wärtsilä service technician attended the Seago Istanbul, whilst at anchorage,
for the purpose of inspecting the 12 RT-Flex 96 C-B engine. The primary purpose of the inspection was
to assess the engine condition after running on Marine MSAR® prior to issuance of an Interim Letter
Of No Objection (LONO). At the time of the interim inspection, the vessel had accumulated 1,370 hours
running on Marine MSAR®, out of 3,816 total hours, since the beginning of the MSAR® trial.
The inspection consisted of both a visual assessment of the engine running components i.e. cylinder
liners, pistons and piston rings and a more detailed examination of the two units. Units 4 and 6 of the
engine were opened up in order to measure the wear rate of the liner, piston and rings. The liner wear
rates were within the acceptable guidelines as issued by Wärtsilä with no abnormal wear noted. The
burn down of the piston crowns was assessed as normal and not outside of expected wear when using
conventional residual fuel. The piston rings and gaps were also measured and the wear rates were
found to be in line with that of an engine burning conventional fuel.
In summary, the engine and specifically the two units that were opened for detailed inspection did not
exhibit any unusual wear from that expected with conventional residual fuel.

A second tranche of Convertible Securities, with a nominal value of up to £2.15 million (the "Second Tranche"), is conditionally available to the Company with a subscription price of up to £2.0 million, subject to the aggregate nominal value of the Second Tranche of Convertible Securities to be issued not exceeding 3.5% of the Company's market capitalisation on issue.

The Maersk situation back then with IMO 2020 looming, shippers were running around like headless chickens trying to decide the right choice for compliance. QFI was a one trick pony and could only offer a solution alongside scrubbers if scrubbers were adopted. Maersk Ewe Turn stands out.
Today we have the green incentive, BioMSAR, we have greater scrubber installation in ships than could've been imagined, we have supply of corrupt VLSFO, more harmful to the environment than the HFO it displaced( Maersk's choice for 2020 compliance, Muppets ). We have MSC with scrubbers fitted wanting to trial our fuels. Low sulphur crude supply from Utah. Imminent and Substantial has never been closer.

Quadrise looks forward to receiving samples from POSP following its restart. Once received, the POSP samples will enable the Company to complete the necessary lab and pilot testing at the Quadrise Research Facility.

There is so much riding on Quadrise tech in Utah that it should be of the utmost priority to get the samples to QRF ASAP after restart. We know restart has been achieved and can only assume the samples are at least on their way.
The guys working at Valkor do not and will not **** about, there's too much at stake.

As mentioned recently, Steve Byle of Valkor Tech. took 20% in petrotech as he believes in the POSP, once MSAR is produced at Asphalt Ridge and our tech is proven to be the only way Utah Tar Sands are saleable and profitable, Steve will probably want a slice of our pie.

Next in Shipping Regulations will be the reduction of Particulate Matter (soot). The IMO already allows and recognises the use of Emulsion Fuel in the Arctic and Antarctic regions because it combats the PM which intensifies global warming in those areas,( turns the ice black). When this regulation comes in, the only fuels with complete carbon burn ( no soot ) are Emulsions like ours. How many competitors do we have.

QFI have always stated that the most cost effective and environmentally friendly way to meet the IMO regulations are MSAR plus Scrubbers.

The risk attached is the reason that at present the shares are 3.6 pence each. As the risk lessens the price will multiply. Remove the risk completely and most wont be able to afford them.
